I had great meals at our hotel (mayan palace) and thought this place would be cheaper and better but the food was just ok and very expensive. Honestly I wouldn't even bother unless you want to get stuck with gringo prices.

We asked our bellhop which local place we should choose and immediately he said "Claudio's, you have to go there, it is the best food and tell them I sent you, take this ticket and you will get 4 free drinks," We walked there, and it was an interesting walk, about 10 minutes from our hotel. Not super friendly when... More

When our plans changed we asked a cabbie where to go. Service was excellent Food so good. Grilled seafood platter for one and surf and turf...yum! The coldest white wine I have had since I have been here Great mageritas! Cool vibe- old school! Great murals Great music!!

Claudio's is one of the restaurants I always go to when I come to Nuevo Vallarta. The bacon wrapped shrimp is great, a little salty but that seems to be normal here. The Cadillac Margarita's are a must have as well.

We dined with friends. The food was okay slightly high priced for what it is. Open air restaurant, with colorful tablecloths and Mexican decor. The shrimp fajitas were quite good. Service was good but not very friendly. The food was okay, decor okay, staff okay, not a very different experience. Out of the way with no view. Would return but... More

I didn't plan on going because of the TP reviews, but I met several people that really liked the restaurant. I sent my food back because my fish was covered in cheese and bacon - way to ruin good fish. and my friends didn't care for their dishes and service was painfully slow.

Claudio's is an open air restaurant, which if NOT recommended, we would not have visited only from the outside drive up to the restaurant. However, once there, the staff met us at the car and assisted us to the table of our choice. Their service was and still is great. We have eaten there each time we are at our... More

This restaurant is within easy walking distance of the main gate for the Mayan Resort complex. We were a little apprehensive approaching it as the entry way is gravel and the restaurant was nearly empty. Our server was helpful explaining several dishes to us. We settled on a seafood sampler (for 2) that included lobster, scallops, snapper, crab, talipia and... More

The staff at our hotel recommended this local Mexican restaurant a five minute taxi ride from paradise village. Looked questionable when we arrived, but the food was delicious, well presented, and very friendly. You'll have a few surprises ...like having your photo taken...you will buy them too...but we were served a complimentary beverage after dinner. Certainly does not look like... More

We have been coming to Claudio's for the last 5 years and it seems that in the last 3 years it has spiraled to a lower degree each time we visited. The latest meal which our group of 6 had was the worst. The snapper was NOT fresh and it tasted bland (it was grilled) and the tortilla soup was... More
