I went here and I asked for something called queso maya that was really good. I also asked for a pescado oaxaqueño and it wasnt that good I would prefer another restaurant like la laguna. The service was good and the decoration was nice.

Beautiful tropical like setting with hand made patio lanterns and an attentive waiting staff made this the best place to eat on our trip. The kids wanted to go back again the next night but we waited a day. Angus fajitas, black bean soup and the Molcajete (not on the menu) were all so good. The chips and salsa to... More

We almost stayed away because we thought this place might not serve traditional Mexican food. We are glad we tried it ---many times--because it is not a watered down version of Mexican, it is lovely fresh authentic food.

This place, and it's neighbour, La Dinamita, has the most wonderful setting of any restaurant I've been to. You eat in the open air, surrounded by palm trees, hung with beautiful lights and dine to the music of the cicadas. If there's a full moon, it's magical. And the food is delicious - FRESH, tasty, just enough and well-priced. Service... More

The food was delicious and the service excellent. Take the recommendation of the manager on food selection, you won't go wrong.

I love the fajitas here. My father in-law loves the coconut shrimp. You need to wear bug spray though. I usually ask to be seated by a fan. It helps limit the mosquitos. This restaurant is not over priced and they consistently deliver quality food. We go here every time we are in Nuevo Vallarta at least 3 times in... More

For more than 10 years, every November we come twice, previously always loving their food and their service, but something has really changed this year. Like someone else who wrote a recent review, we also had a very crabby "waiter" who was wearing a different colored shirt and who seemed like he might be the manager since we hardly saw... More

The food was still excellent but servers were argumentive with each other & didn't give good service. They were upset because we didn't leave a bigger tip but we told them why. We wanted to order dessert but they never came back to our table so we left without.
