Great food and atmosphere!

The food is always good. Nothing fancy but quality. BUT, the last two times we have been there, MUCH to our disappointment, we have had what started out as a friendly chat with one of the management, ended up being a sales pitch for a time share. They are very persistent and know how to work the... read more

We had visited this restaurant three years ago and were happy to see that it still exists. It is close to the resort that we stayed at which makes a quick and cheap taxi ride one of the positives about going there. But the food is also a big draw as is the atmosphere. To be able to eat right... More

During my stay in the Marina I had plenty of time to experience the cuisine and the friendliness and caring of the staff in various establishments. I was very impressed with Marisco's Tino's and had the pleasure of having a Mexican girlfriend accompany me for dinner. The establishment pleasant and the food prepared as we ordered. I was happy all... More

The pescado sarandeado and camarones a ala diabla are the best I have ever had. Be prepared for a very basic mexican palapa setting. No luxuries but the mangrove wood burning grill gives the dishes a unique flavour.

I ordered spaghetti with mariscos it was good. It was fresh and tasty. I must admit that I ate it all. I liked the cookies, saladitas and tostadas they brought before they served the main entree. My wife had pechuga de pollo a la plancha (chicken). Her plate came with a lot of dice green peppers, onions, red peppers, guacamole... More

My father-in-law made this dinner stop one on our recent trip to Nuevo. And who can blame him? The food is always good and the menu diverse enough to please any crowd. Plus the setting is unique and always a crowd pleaser. My father-in-law always comes for the bacon wrapped shrimp; combining those two ingredients ensures success. I had the... More

This place was referred by a lot of the hotel employees. The service was great and real close to the resort ( not close enough to walk though). I got the bacon wrapped shrimp which was not as expected. Too much bacon and the bacon was not cooked enough. My wife and son ordered the garlic shrimp which was excellent.... More

Food was sub-par, over priced and even charge for the title food. Special sauce on Shrimp looked and tasted like Campbell's condensed soup. Gross. Manager, the freaking manager, trie to talk you into time shares. Ridiculous! Stay away!

This place has good seafood. For starters, the setting is awesome. What better location than right on the edge of a lake (hence the name La Laguna)? It has great service, and the evening we were there, they had a quartet, which really set the mood into a more relaxing and Mexican style ambient. Definitely, something foreigners and even locals... I have been coming to the Banderas Bay for years, and find myself coming back to Tino's La Laguna every time. The food is great, the location is also interesting. Located on the water where you can enjoy viewing wildlife such as Crocodile, Turtles, Iguanas, Birds. Their food is some of the best I have had around the Bay. The... More
