The biggest shrimp we have ever seen!

This is a festive, open restaurant right by a lagoon. The shrimps were gigantic! We toasted with some delicious raicilla and ended with their version of bananas foster made at the table.

The food was great. We ordered the platter for 2 with an assortment of seafood (octopus, lobster, crab, shrimp, veg & rice) that was served on a large platter and nicely cooked. It was about $70USD for 2 (including 2 drinks). However, the service was not great. The waiter did not check on us until the end of the meal.... More

I have dined here a few times. Last night we had HORRIBLE service and were treated poorly. 5 waiters standing around doing nothing. I asked for a Coke four times and waited a half hour to get it. Asked for poco do Gallo...waitied a half hour for that. Glass for a drink...another half hour. Very disappointed in how poorly this... More

We had visited this restaurant three years ago and were happy to see that it still exists. It is close to the resort that we stayed at which makes a quick and cheap taxi ride one of the positives about going there. But the food is also a big draw as is the atmosphere. To be able to eat right... More

During my stay in the Marina I had plenty of time to experience the cuisine and the friendliness and caring of the staff in various establishments. I was very impressed with Marisco's Tino's and had the pleasure of having a Mexican girlfriend accompany me for dinner. The establishment pleasant and the food prepared as we ordered. I was happy all... More

The food is always good. Nothing fancy but quality. BUT, the last two times we have been there, MUCH to our disappointment, we have had what started out as a friendly chat with one of the management, ended up being a sales pitch for a time share. They are very persistent and know how to work the customer. This is so... More

The pescado sarandeado and camarones a ala diabla are the best I have ever had. Be prepared for a very basic mexican palapa setting. No luxuries but the mangrove wood burning grill gives the dishes a unique flavour.

I ordered spaghetti with mariscos it was good. It was fresh and tasty. I must admit that I ate it all. I liked the cookies, saladitas and tostadas they brought before they served the main entree. My wife had pechuga de pollo a la plancha (chicken). Her plate came with a lot of dice green peppers, onions, red peppers, guacamole... More

My father-in-law made this dinner stop one on our recent trip to Nuevo. And who can blame him? The food is always good and the menu diverse enough to please any crowd. Plus the setting is unique and always a crowd pleaser. My father-in-law always comes for the bacon wrapped shrimp; combining those two ingredients ensures success. I had the... More

This place was referred by a lot of the hotel employees. The service was great and real close to the resort ( not close enough to walk though). I got the bacon wrapped shrimp which was not as expected. Too much bacon and the bacon was not cooked enough. My wife and son ordered the garlic shrimp which was excellent.... More
