Seafood, Seafood!

I have been coming to the Banderas Bay for years, and find myself coming back to Tino's La Laguna every time. The food is great, the location is also interesting. Located on the water where you can enjoy viewing wildlife such as Crocodile, Turtles, Iguanas, Birds. Their food is some of the best I have had around the Bay. The... More

Great casual Mexican restaurant with terrific service. The owner came over to visit and knew all about our Seattle Seahawks and obviously watched their games. Restaurant is on a lagoon that has medium-sized turtles and large talapia fish, both which kept looking up in hopes for any tidbits of food. Highlight of evening is when a kitchen staff member waved... More

LA LAGUNA is perfectly situated walking distance from the front gates to the Vedanta resort complex where the Grand Luxxe and others are situated. It’s right on the river and the ambiance is great. You can gaze at the tons of turtles in the river or hope to see a crocodile. There’s a ‘Little Tikes’ play structure which was great... More

Interesting setting for a restaurant. From many tables, you can see the turtles swimming in the marshy land. Staff & regulars swear that a crocodile visits every so often. Choose any dish made with local seafood (fish, shrimp) and you will be very happy. Portions are large and nicely presented. Staff is attentive and each appear to be thoroughly enjoying... More

We were referred to this lindoor-outdoor restaurant by others and were very pleased with the food and service. It's just a 35-peso cab ride from the Grand Mayan and well worth the short trip outside the main gate. We both had the avocado stuffed with shrimp and covered with Thousand Island dressing as an appetizer. About 15-18 luscious cold shrimp... More

Great outdoor/indoor atmosphere and feeding the turtles was a treat. My husband had the whole fish-it was huge and good flavor. I had a seafood dish that was served in actual seashells-cool, cheesy, and tasty! The staff was fun and we did shots at the bar with our waiter. We will go back on our next visit!

We always eat here when in Mexico. They bring out three sauces. One is Tomatillo, one is chopped up jalapenos w/ tomatoes, and the other is a hot sauce. Tortilla to eat prior to ordering. The marlin taco's are good, the shrimp taco's are good. It's all good. The view is perfect to see down below in the town, the... More

This place was great. From the view overlooking the lagoon (more like a pond where we are from!) to the mariachi band, the atmosphere projected a feel of a good time. The food presentation was beautiful . Our server was very attentive and the manager stopped by to make sure everything was good. We had a great experience and would... More

The service was excellent - and we were not bothered at all by timeshare sales. We started with margaritas, which were very good and a generous portion, moved on to guacamole and then a whole red snapper, which was shown to us prior to them filleting it, cooked to perfection and finished with the bananas flambe. Very nice evening..
