We were looking for good seafood without a fancy restaurant and this was it. I had the stuffed fillet and it was covered with sauce, very good. others had the shrimp and it was very good, quite a selection. The waiters were very friendly so overall it was great. Met another couple at the pool here at resort that was... More

We visited here in November because a friend of ours suggested we do so.. said the snapper was amazing. We did not find snapper but the husband ordered fish and it was really, really good and big. My concern was that it was expensive and all he got was snapper. No veggies etc unless you specifically asked. Also, what's with... More

We stayed at the nearby and marvelous Grand Mayan resort and had been told about this "great" restaurant. We were greeted warmly and seated by the lagoon, good beginnings. Then things got confusing. Two waiters served us, each with different ideas about what was available. The shrimp were "special" that night so more money than on the menu. The lobster... More

For all the hype about this place, I was disappointed. The service was adaquite, the food average, portions were generous. Pricing was definitely Nuevo higher prices. I live in PV and can find a much better experience all the way around including a great value in pricing without having to take a bus for over an hour to get there.... More

Next to a small lagoon that has some mosquitoes. This is a fair sea food restaurant. The whole Sarandeado fish is a Nayarit specialty. I personally like the red snapper plain grilled with lemon and garlic. Good service and music for a fee. The original Tinos is in Vallarta and this branch is fair as far as the food goes.

It was a bit hard to find this restaurant but well worth the search. It is a nice location on a lagoon with turtles swimming in the water beside the tables. The service was very good and it was really busy the night we were there. The coconut shrimp and the shrimps in a raincoat are excellent!

We came here twice on a one week vacation. Nice friendly atmosphere . The whole fish with the bar b q sauce is amazing. The waiter will filet it for you. One and a half kilos for two people was a lot of food. Shrimp tacos were a great appetizer. End the meal with Cafe Tino's - it is a... More

Food just DID NOT TASTE good. There were alot of sea food options which we looked forward to. Maybe we should have tried the turf instead of the surf.

First place we've eaten that had crocodiles swimming by. Shared the whole red snapper cooked sarandeado and it was delicious. Drinks are reasonably priced and the service was prompt and attentive. We were seated on the edge of the deck and had a good view of the crocodiles and turtles, would have been a big hit with our grandchildren.

La Laguna is a seafood restaurant overlooking a lagoon. Come early to see the views of the animals. Come anytime to enjoy the wonderful food. We shared a large red snapper fish, smothered with a special rub and then grilled. A side of veggies, some guacamole and tortillas, a few drinks and dinner was finger licking delicious. Unfortunately, a restaurant... More
