Good Italian Cuisine

A good family restaurant, not too expensive and makes great pizzas. Outside tables as well as inside, and friendly servers.

I just found this fantastic restaurant, where the food is delicious, ambience and music By Guido is excellent..... Pasta if not made right or sauce can be horrible, mushy terrible, I had the best pasta with garlic & olive oil my favorited of all with garlic bread, my partner had meat sauce and he was thrilled, in the past we... We have been going to Guido's for lots of years! We love it there with the friendly staff! My husband loves the lamb dinner there. I love the lasagna! Big portions of really good food!

Even though Guido is no longer at Guido's, they still use his name. The restaurant has been there for a long time and is a good reliable staple stop, but nothing to talk about around the pool the next day. Someone said they no longer do pizza, but we did not check it out when we were there, but you... More

This is a nice little restaurant on the beach. It's the only non hotel restaurant on the best beach in Nuevo Vallarta. I had bruchetta which was excellent and large garlic shrimp which were fantastic. A nice bonus was live music! They had a baratone singer that sang American and Mexican songs. He was excellent!

This was our first experience at Guido's after going by the restaurant the last few years and always seeing it busy. Both my husband and I had the catch of the day and we were both very impressed with the quality of the fish and the pasta and vegetables that accompanied the meal. The bread to start was delicious and... More

The day we flew in this year, we were en route to check into our condo after a long day of travel when we both decided we were too ravenous and tired to head there first, then go back out for dinner. We wanted dinner pronto, and with no fuss. Just then we passed Guido's, a place I'd never heard... More

We came over on a Saturday night looking for a break from Mexican food. We were seated, menus presented and drink orders taken. When it was time to order we were told "no pizza tonight". Really? How about letting us know this when the menus were dropped off? Settled for lasagna, which had about a tablespoon of hamburger for the... More

We always make it a point when we stay in Nuevo Vallarta to go back to Guido's. The staff are so welcoming, even when there's a crowd (like on Valentine's Day!). Starting with warm bread basket and ice cold water, the appetizers and salads are good portioned and delicious. We love their flavorful sauces on all the pasta dishes, and... More

We have eaten at Guidos a number of times over the years. A couple of years ago the reviews were mixed but I have to say it is stellar. We have been twice in the past three weeks. Once with a large group when the restaurant was full ( food arrived quickly and hot)... Tonight with a couple who are... More
