Great Local Spot

Started as a hole in the wall convenience store that Eddie has grown to one of the top spots in the area. Unfortunately, Eddie had a heart attack and died last year, but his sons learned well and have continued to maintain the service and quality that Eddie took pride in. Eddie leaves a great... read more

Lots of folks love this place! I am not particularly one of them. It feels like you are eating in a parking lot because you are eating in a parking lot that is covered with icky old green carpet or fake grass stuff. The food is okay but I think why people love going here is because of the man... More

We try to get to Eddie's each year, at least once. We did again this year, and it's consistent. Still my favorite is the coconut shrimp. The staff and mood is still upbeat even without Eddie. The menu continues to have a few Lebanese dishes as well as traditional Mexican and seafood. Service is still excellent, and there is usually... More

Eddie died recently but restaurant hasn't changed. This four Sons now run the restaurant. The Mexican food and sea food are very special. The thing they do for us is let us watch the university of Kansas basketball games.

Other than Pedro, the service needs work. A lot of food, excellent value. Eddie died last May and it shows in the lack of service. His son does not interact with the customers and make sure that they are taken care of. Order country potatoes instead of hash browns. The cooks don't know how to make good hash browns.

The food was ok but nothing special. Definitely below average compared to other food that we had on the trip. Small portions and the bread tasted a bit stale. The service was terrible, it took forever to receive our food and be served (we even saw another group walk out because their food was taking too long). Wouldn't go back... More

We were a little disappointed on our return to Eddie's after two years. Though the local eatery was very busy, staff were less than attentive (it took some time for us to be visited by wait staff after we were seated and we seemed to be forgotten after our finished meal was taken away). We had come back to once... More

We had reservations and were seated fairly promptly. The restaurant was crowded and appeared understaffed. We received our drinks but after a long wait asked for some salsa and chips. Once we ordered it took a long time to receive my meal. My fish was good but they forgot to serve the vegetables that were supposed to accompany it. My... More

Looks like a hole in the wall but the food is good quality as are the drinks. Went for lunch, burgers and tacos were high quality, prices moderate

Great meal at a fair price and good service. The only thing mussing is Eddie who passed away in 2015.
