Friendly Staff, Good Food

We went for a little walk to get lunch while waiting for our hotel room to be ready, and we decided this place looked interesting. It wasn't very busy when we were there, but it was probably about 2pm on a weekday, during the rainy season. Our waiter was super super friendly and accommodating... read more

This is one of my favorite's restaurant, in Leon, it's inevitable to enjoy the environment, the hospitality of all the staff, the prices are very affordable and a plus of this place is the "Lady Salsa" hahaha there's a Lady who prepares salsa in front of you, with fresh ingredients of the day, the colors, the smell, the experience to... Went there for a business dinner. My host said it was an authentic Mexican restaurant. It was a rainy night, but though there is an openness of the restaurant, we still were able to dine (and watch Mexico - Panama in Oro Copa). The high ceilings and archways showed a lot of character and made an excellent atmosphere. The heavy... More

The food here is very good and the atmosphere feels genuine. My biggest complaint was the Mariachi band. Even though they were several tables away, they were way too loud for my tastes, making it difficult to have a conversation with my friend. However, the food was pretty wonderful, they start you off with chips and extras, then a lady... More

We passed this place on the way back from Plaza del Zapatos, a stone's throw away. I'd passed it several times before with the intention of going. The timing was right and we went in, there was a live mariachi band and the place was nearly full. In fact it looks like a typical Mexican restaurant in the states, and... More

Unlike so many restaurants in Mexico where consistency seems to be an issue, the food was just as good as during our visit three years prior. Location adjacent to the Zona Piel makes it a perfect place for a bite to eat.

This restaurant is very large and offers a lot of topical and regional dishes. They offer custom made salsas. Prices are pricey though. Avoid the window seats next to the main blvd there is a sewer line near.

We arrive to this restaurant looking for a good local Mexican food but we experimented our worst cooking food in our lives, the chicken comes underdone, the waitress are so bad never available to serve, never recommend any dish from the menu of course because doesn't know what they have, the place are dirty table covers spread with residues from... We visited this restaurant on New Years Day of 2014. It has a nice decor and the serving staff had nice outfits. We arrived at 7:40 and they were reluctant to let us in since they said they closed at 8 o'clock. We told them we would eat quickly. Ordered a drink and then were told that we could have... More
