Nice and traditional place

This place has a charm and warming environment, the waiters are always pending to ensure you feel well attended, the variety of the dishes is good to cover traditional Mexican food. This is a place which is visited by locals if you want to get rid of the traditional touristic places. Be aware to... read more

We decided to try this place out on our visit to Leon in July. We were visiting with my boyfriend's parents and a couple who are friends of their family (one of whom is Mexican). It was a little hard to find because I think they were doing some construction and a couple of the roads were closed. We ended... More

I came for an early dinner, so the place was empty. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very quaint. I sat on the upstairs patio under the trees, which was very pleasant. I tried the Sangria, delicious, the Azulejos enchiladas with chicken and the Classico Flan. It was all very good. I think I would like... More

You'll like everything from prices to service, the food is Mexican traditional food, so recommended to include appetizers and desserts

My family and me go to Leon every year in March since 2011. Although we very much enjoy Leon we have always had one problem: finding a nice place to have dinner. We want something tasty and nice but the purpose of our trip is not like going to the best and expensiest restaurant in town. So this year we... More

This place has a very inviting atmosphere. Plenty of good Mexican food served, and the servers were friendly and helpful. I was with a large group. However, if I returned I would inquire about the seating upstairs. Not sure if that was available, but it would be neat if it was.

We just came back from having dinner... Not surprised at all! Thought we were having an outstanding meal, but unfortunately it was not the case... Although the place is like an old cabin, which provides a nice atmosphere, our selection was plain and lacking flavor. There is a small theater stage presenting plays Fri & Sat night... Baroque music tonight.... More

This place is truly exceptional! It was a little hard to find, but well worth it. If my travels bring me back to León, I'll eat here every night!

I wasn't even prepared mentally or physically to experience such a wonderful dinner... Entering this restaurant was like walking to ancient mexico, with a side theatre on the side! I may go to other elaborate restaurants which become expensive pretty fast with half the flavor this restaurant brings... I would definetly try it again and make sure I go to... More
