Homemade Mexican cuisine flavors

It can easily be reviewed as average if you are looking for high end gourmet restaurant, but if what you're looking for is a taste of real homemade Mexican cuisine this is a very good chooice.

I love Oaxacan mole. Had that for lunch with sopitas, a COLIMA favorite. Ordered food for eating on our hotel terrace for dinner. HMM. Good and inexpensive as well as centrally located near the zocalo.

I ate here several times, and it was always a special occasion. Wonderful Oaxacan food. Lots to see in the restaurant, as they have an odd collection of art and artifacts displayed. This is a special place. I have seen several large family groups celebrating First Communions, Marriages, and probably a few divorces. It isn't a party place, it is... More

This is by far the best restaurant in Colima the food is incredible and even though the place is very unpretentious the service is formidable. Try the tamales oaxaqueños or the mole negro!! You will not regret it!!

Because I love Oaxacan food, I brought a group of 19 to this restaurant on a Manzanillo cruise port day. The atmosphere was quaint, the seating large enough to easily accomodate all of us and a lot more, the service was fairly quick, and the prices were fair.
