Cool little bar

This place is typical of what you would expect on the beach in Mexico. It has a good location and typical bar food. It was clean, well run and had good service with lots of atmosphere

For the Shrimp, which were over the top! Big, crisp & juicy!! This is a pretty typical beach front restaurant with a menu to match. My chille relleno was good as was my husband's stuffed fish (the inevitable flounder), but nothing spectacular. Drinks were also standard & we didn't try the wine. But my sister in law's shrimp was super!!... More

Decor is very well done! Extremely clean! Very spacious inside and out, great views of the beach and Sea of Cortez. Foof and drinks are good!

We make sure to make this a destination when we visit Puerto Penasco. The fish tacos are great. The atmosphere is good. We have gone with our three young children during the day and the staff treats us incredible...they allowed us to keep our table and walk out to the beach to play and go on the banana boats. All... Stopped in for a Margarita and onion ring break after our ATV adventure. Huge area inside with TVs, ping pong and lots of area to stand/sit. Outdoors is directly on the beach, with corn hole, firepit, and great seating. For HH the crowd was mixed, but guess that as the night goes on it's a crowd in their 20's mostly.... More

This was a pirate themed bar on the beach at Cholla Bay. Thought we would check it out... We got an awesome round table on the sand patio with a huge firepit in the middle. This was pretty cool atmosphere as the waiter lit a fire for us. Inside the restaurant looks like a nightclub bar... I bet it gets... More

Every year we love to end our trip here. It is a clean and classy place to come and enjoy some great food, great drinks, a private beach and some banana boating. This past visit I had some cheese sticks (decent) and the fish and shrimp basket, which was very delicious. The only negative thing this time around was everyone... More

The cantina is right on the beach so the view is awesome. Excellent music. Great place to stop for a cerveza after golfing. The service is great, kudos to Jose and all the servers. We never ate much more than appetizers, chips and salsa, the nachos are excellent. A friend had the oyster platter and raved about it. Will definitely... More

Party of four dropped in just before spring break and the place was ready to party with stage and dance floor and TVs with sports. Cool place even for me at 60 years. For a bar, the fried seafood was very good and cheap margaritas. Service was excellent as we were the only people in the place. I would go... More

We have been going to Rocky Point for the past 20 years and there are just some places while visiting that we always make sure to stop at while we are there The Reef is one. Just a great place to have a bite to eat and a few drinks and always a friendly staff.
