Everytime is great...I dream of going back for more!

We stop at Pollo Lucas on every visit to Rocky Point. The food is cheap, the atmosphere is good, and the portions are good. Our last visit was just my wife and I and we ordered a full chicken, that way we'd have lots of left overs for the entire stay. Make sure to eat the salsa sparingly, unless... read more

We were uncertain about the "rural" aspect of the place (dusty parking lot, stray dog, etc) but inside, it was clean and airy. KACMANONTHEROAD said in a review said it was a little pricy and not as tasty as Satisfied Frog's? He needs to lay off the tequila. (Satisfied Frog's chicken is great - but it's fried, so big difference.)... More

This place had the right atmosphere to know we were in Mexico, but not have any concerns about eating there. The food and the service were good. Only go there if everyone in your party wants to eat chicken, but your choice of entree is chicken, chicken or chicken.

A quick stop for dinner, or lunch. Outside sitting area and nothing but Pollo is served. You can buy 1/2 chicken grilled with tortillas and all the fixings for 5 bucks. You can add rice and beans, drinks they have soup and salads too! great place to eat and see the world go by. Very resonable price for good food..

We stopped there for lunch and found the prices a little on the high side. The chicken is BBQ'd fresh on the grill but it wasn't as tasty as the chicken at the Satisfied Frog down on the Malicon.

The chicken is Char Broiled on an outdoor grill and is nice and crispy (a little touch of spice) If you get the full meal deal ($12) it consists of chicken, fried beans, cabbage, Mexican rice, pickled onions, salsa, limes and warm tortillas We took it back to where we were staying and it was two meals for the two... This place is also referred to as crack chicken. The chicken here is so good, and definitely somewhere you will want to go back to over and over. as others mentioned it is a great value, and amazing food. Typical atmosphere for style of restaurant, but you're there for the food not the environment.

We stopped on our way into town and ordered it to go. The staff was friendly and helpful with portions. Ordered the whole chicken, beans, rice, corn/flour tortillas, etc....Very good food, very good price. Easy for your first night in Rocky Point or a night you want to stay in. Our new tradition on our way into town.

This is a simple restaurant, that we enjoyed. Local establishment in town with awesome chicken. We ate 1/2 chickens, with rice, cabbage and Torillas. Simple, Satisfying and with 3 Colas our bill was 24$ with tip. This is a open air restaurant with a wood floor, and dogs walking trough. The Chicken really was good.

Lucas is a great local spot to enjoy authentic Mexican grilled chicken. The flavor of the chicken is superb, especially combined with the tortilla and garnishments included. Top it all off with a bottle of Lift or orange Fanta and you have a perfect lunch or dinner in Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
