Fish Taco craving satisfied!

On our 2nd day in Puerto Penasco I was craving fish tacos so we decided to try the Blue Marlin. It's a small place with a small porch but quite charming. They greet you with "Welcome Home" upon arrival. They served the chips with a hot peanut sauce and a cilantro cream sauce, a nice departure from... read more

The seafood feast for two was extraordinary. Way too much food to finish, a fabulous to go box for leftovers.

Exploring Old Port and as others have, thanks to Trip Advisor, we decided to have a late lunch at the Blue Marlin. Our time began with owner Homero Ortega greeting us with a huge smile, and "Welcome Home !" Seated on the outdoor patio, Jose, our Server, brought chips and salsas, took our drink orders and presented us with menus.... More

Went out later in the evening on the hunt for fish tacos and this place delivered. I felt right at home in this quaint little cafe. Prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly. You must eat here!

Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor (!) and was not disappointed. It's all true! The staff are friendly, fun, and treat you like a valued friend. The food was outstanding. Two couples ordered the four-course seafood dinner for two (not on the menu) At $30 a couple, this was an amazing deal: soup or salad, oysters, shrimp three-ways & two kinds... More

We love the friendly staff and the excellent food. The $2.99 Fish Taco special is wonderful. And the Cilantro Sauce to put on them only makes them better. Definitely our favorite spot in Rocky Point.

Cute little restaurant ½ block back from the Malecon. Do not try to use the map from TA as it will take you to the wrong city. I was able to spot the restaurant as someone had written that it is across the street from Thrifty’s ice cream (and it is). I live on the west coast of Canada and... More

We were in Puerto Penasco for a week. We enjoyed dining at the Blue Marlin twice. The shrimp quesadilla was my favorite appetizer and my wife enjoyed the shrimp cocktails. The quality of the food was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the service excellent. The best deal for under $50 for two, including drinks and dessert. A must... More

I love seafood and the Blue Marlin seafood combination special is excellent! Everything is extremely fresh, and perfectly prepared. This dish includes white fish, shrimp, and clams prepared in several different ways each, all absolutely delicious, and cost approx. $30 US for two people, not each! The seafood dishes on the menu range from fish tacos to specialties from all... More

As we walked up, a group ahead of us greeted the owner like an old friend. Clearly this was a favorite spot for them. The restaurant is tiny and they had a reservation for a large group so we had to sit out on the patio. It was getting breezy and I feared we'd be cold by the time we... More
