Stopped in for breakfast, cook/cashier was pretty rude. Canned beans and hard tortillas, it was cheap though.

JJ's is an Icon of the area - it's been around for ages (and it shows). Don't come here for food, but do drop in for drinks. Happy Hour is the BEST time to go to mingle with the locals. What JJ's lacks in sparkle it makes up for in people. The locals (and frequent visitors) area always up for... More

We were the only customers when we arrived for lunch. The cook misunderstood beef burritos and we got beans. They were very small, but all the tortillas in the restaurants in Rocky Point that we went to had tiny tortillas. You think you're ordering a meal sized burrito or a couple tacos and you get snack size portions. But the... More

if you are looking for a teenager's spring break kind of place, come here. sticky floors, expensive and over cooked fish but good priced drinks. loud music and atmosphere of immature drinkers (spring breakers). country music and golf on tv. clean bathrooms.

Had to visit based on recommendations, but it was a cooler day so the front doors were closed and the place is very dark with no other windows. The food was below average - burger platter was on par with a fast food restaurant and the fish and chips were small and fried in what was likely old oil. I... More

I love JJ's! The atmosphere is great. I love being able to sit on the back patio area and just watch the water, local fishermen, dolphins, etc. The fish tacos are yummy! We enjoy the quesadillas too! It is more of a bar type place so it can get busy. We take our kids all the time and they enjoy... More

Our family called in here recently on the advice of our daughter who said everyone comes here. We just had a drink and tacos while the sun set. We were the only people there so it was very quiet. Nice views as we watched the fisherman head out to sea for the evening. I could imagine this place rocking late... More

Yummy fish tacos, cold beer, great views, and if you pay attention to dates, great music! The longer you stay, the more difficult it is to gracefully ascend and descend those stone steps.... don't let that deter you though! So worth it!

Rocky Point has change over the many years, but JJ's somehow stays the same. As we are a bit "older" now, the late night bar scene is not for us; however, we always make a day to go to Cholla Bay and search for sand dollars, after which we can enjoy a refreshment at JJ's. Because we are usually there... More

This place was fun for a drink and to let the kids play in the water. You order at a window and it's a free for all. Mass confusion and our order was totally wrong. The food quality is less than average.
