If views are important to you then a sunset dinner is a must form the Lighthouse !! I have attached a photo that we actually had made into a oil paiting and hangs in our condo down there. The divorced fish is amazing !!! Little off of the beaten path, but will be enjoyed once you make it here.

They could not bill us seperately to avoid confusion. We were a large group and only half the people were served after two hours of waiting. The waiter was rude

I really love the Lighthouse restaurant. It sits on top of the bluff over looking Puerto Penasco. Get there before sunset and sit out on the patio for an amazing sunset. As for the food, it is great. I've been here 3 times I think and the food has always been excellent. A little more upscale than most of the... More

Went there over the past 8 years. Started off great, loved it. Steadily declined each year. Last visit, few nights ago, awful. Menu shorter selection, prices dramatically increased. Small portions very high prices. One dish we ordered cost $20.00. It consisted of 6 shrimp, a small spoonful of rice and few veggies. Another dish was a meal for two. Overpriced... More

We just visited the Lighthouse Restaurant and I'm sorry; but, I don't agree with some of the other reviews. I guess that is why there are so many options for many different tastes. We often visit El Capitan, and we love it! Thus, the Lighthouse had to really impress. It started out on a great note, the parking assistance was... More

The best sunset view, the best guacamole, the best Mexican Coffee with the best flaming presentation. Of course there are other great items on the menu too. A real favorite with my group of friends is the flounder with mango habanero sauce (no it's not too hot!) If you are there a night when owners Iva and Armando are there,... More

If you are looking for some great food then you HAVE TO go to the Lighthouse! We went for a nice sunset dinner, the sunset was amazing, the band was great, food took a little bit long BUT it was delicious when it got there. Really wonderful atmosphere. Its a little hard to get there if you don't know how... More

Best place for a sunset view in PP. We had really good Mexican shrimp cocktails here. I always enjoy the ambiance up on the Hill. Lot's of Gringos here.

Located at the top of the hill above the marina adjacent to El Capitán. Indoor seating behind large windows. Was there at night so didn’t take advantage of outdoor seating which appeared to have a 180 degree view of town, the marina and Sandy Beach. Decor was a little plain but service was prompt and courteous. When asked what wines... More

This place is great to watch the sunset, however everyone seems to know this already so it gets rather busy. So come earlier and stay later!
