Great Birthday place

My friends took me to the Lighthouse for my birthday Oct 11th. We sat on the upstairs balcony, saw a stunning sunset and ate a great meal. The service was excellent. Then the big surprise was the presentation of their Mexican Coffee. A flaming delight. what a show.. Loved it.

Same spectacular view; decent attentive staff; almost totally new menu listing, as the name implies, Fish. Period. Oh, and, a little too pricey for a Rocky Point meal. We tried Grouper, Salmon, and, the mandatory Rocky Point shrimp dishes. The food was just a smidgeon dry, but, still pretty good. Just too expensive.

Beautiful view. Excellent food and service. Upon seating we were served chips, salsa, and freshly prepared quacamole. My wife had traditional mexican combo plate, I had flounder served Vera Cruz style. Good portions and very good quality. I found a 50% off food coupon in local mag. I originally thought prices were a little high but w the coupon total... More

Food and service have been really good over the years, but this time I took a "new to Rocky Point" friend just to have a drink and enjoy the view. WOW.... if you have never seen RP from the "Lighthouse" you really shouldn't miss it.

kind of place. The food is typical, decent, Mexican fare. The views are beautiful and make the average Mexican fare taste pretty good. Take some of your leftovers for the 5 or 6 dogs that line the dirt road up the hill. Decent Margarita 'en los rocas.'

If views are important to you then a sunset dinner is a must form the Lighthouse !! I have attached a photo that we actually had made into a oil paiting and hangs in our condo down there. The divorced fish is amazing !!! Little off of the beaten path, but will be enjoyed once you make it here.

They could not bill us seperately to avoid confusion. We were a large group and only half the people were served after two hours of waiting. The waiter was rude

I really love the Lighthouse restaurant. It sits on top of the bluff over looking Puerto Penasco. Get there before sunset and sit out on the patio for an amazing sunset. As for the food, it is great. I've been here 3 times I think and the food has always been excellent. A little more upscale than most of the... More

Went there over the past 8 years. Started off great, loved it. Steadily declined each year. Last visit, few nights ago, awful. Menu shorter selection, prices dramatically increased. Small portions very high prices. One dish we ordered cost $20.00. It consisted of 6 shrimp, a small spoonful of rice and few veggies. Another dish was a meal for two. Overpriced... More

We just visited the Lighthouse Restaurant and I'm sorry; but, I don't agree with some of the other reviews. I guess that is why there are so many options for many different tastes. We often visit El Capitan, and we love it! Thus, the Lighthouse had to really impress. It started out on a great note, the parking assistance was... More
