This restaurant is one of the best if it comes to typical "Comida Yucateca". Besides that, each Sunday they have a professional performance, presenting and dancing the most popular Mexican songs. The place is very nice, bring some time because service can be a little slow since this place is always crowded.

This place has a small menu but is big on flavor. Great chilaquiles and fresh squeezed orange juice. I also recommend the cochinita pibil taco and the tamale (yucatan style). The cafe de la olla is also great to finish off your breakfast. Come early on weekends as the tables fill up quick and the wait can be long.

It is located in front of Posada's museum. It is a family restaurant that serves breakfast . But just next door they have another place "El rincon maya" where they serve lunch too. We had to wait a little bit as they close La Mestiza and 20 minutes or so later, they open the Rincon Maya. Try the sample platter... More

We arrived at this restaurant (Sept.29, 2014) and it was closed for renovations but had a sign at the door that they served their menu at the restaurant next door, the Rincon Maya. We ordered margaritas and a platter of antojitos as a starter. After a long wait we were told they were out of the ingredients for margaritas (... More

if you love Mariachi and want to experience the most incredible colorful and musical breakfast...this is a MUST, come early (10AM), as seating goes fast. What a beautiful and clean restaurant, with live Mariachi music, especially on the Weekend. LOVED this place. Gorgeous colors and paintings, inside and out.

Great Mexican meal in a great Mexican atmosphere. Very friendly and quick service, despite full house restaurant. Prices are acceptable; generous dish size for normal full order.

The food is excellent, so good that it offsets the slow service. Traditional mexican cuisine at its best for breakfast. Be aware that dishes are very generous. You most try the "jocoqui" (Home made Buttermilk) and the chilaquiles. If you are not keen of spicy make sure you ask for dishes without hot sauce.

A picture perfect location with fresh and authentic food to match. It's worth searching out. Breakfast was filling and exciting as I had never had some of these dishes before. Staff was really sweet and helpful.
