This restaurant in very close to the historic downtown Plaza de Armas. Once done sightseeing head here and you will not be disappointed. They have mexican food from different regions. My favorite "chile ventilla" a mix of flavors that is awesome and not hot at all. They also have an excellent show with a "trovador" that sings mexican pop. Enjoy

The place looks amazing and has very good service. Food was also really good but could be better, starting for the serving temperature, had a "lomo tres quesos" which had a ver good flavor but arrived cold to the table.

I went here for a special occasion and was a little disappointed after having read all the reviews and praises about the food. It is very average, nothing new or different, the place is quite nice. We ordered several dishes, the first course we had was soup which we had to return as it was really cold! once it came... More

This is a lovely place to eat. Over a 5-day stay in San Luis Potosi I enjoyed several meals at various times of day. For a late breakfast, sitting in the central area under blue skies, there can hardly be anywhere better in the city. Good food, well served in great surroundings. Little English is spoken, so be ready to... More

I recently went to Cielo Tinto with colleagues. This is a terrific restaurant. The food was well prepared and delicious. The restaurant is in a wonderful historic setting. There is a beautiful bar. The wine list is quite extensive. This was a great setting for a business dinner. Great service too. This would be a good setting for a special... More

I had seen this restaurant on my last visit and was finally able to dine here. This romantic site is a restored, colonial mansion on the historic Venustiano Carranza street. Inside you'll find colonial furniture, art, with touches of modern decor. There is a lovely inner patio with the traditional fountain for these period homes. Two Iberian hams are on... More

Cielo Tinto is located in the historic center (Centro) of San Luis Potosi, very close to the Plaza de San Francisco. I dined here on a Monday evening at the end of October with six business associates and really enjoyed my dinner. The restaurant was not very busy as it was less than half full. We shared several appetizers that... More

We lived for a couple of years in SLP and this place was one of our favourites places to eat. It is close to the old center, the building is gorgeous, service as usual in Mexico, excellent, good food but maybe a little more priced than the other restaurants in SLP. Really reccomended.

The overall quality, the chic antique setting, the wine selection, the regional comidas, and the prices make this place one of my favorite spots in SLP. The onions soaked in wine reduction are to die for but hang in there dont die just yet because the entree chile nogada is not so common and rarely this good. Buen provecho
