Grand interior, good food and nice atmosphere

The stunning interior in this traditional restaurant makes the experience. As in most of Mexico, service is always friendly and warm. First I was a little doubtful about the buffet but my company enjoyed it, while I chose from the a la carte. The creme brûlée deserves a little shoutout.

Many other restaurants, good and regular come and go but la Gran Via remains with the best food in SLP. Great service, great food, great place.

The historic area has very limited choice of restaurants. Fortunately Gran Via is on the edge. Elegant atmosphere and tasty suckling pig tacos and paella. Good bread. But only glass of white wine was a rather poor Mexican one & I know Baja produces some good wines. My wine glass was chipped. Also, it's difficult to understand the specials as... More

This was my first restaurant in San Luis over 18 years ago, and I was quite surprised of the quality of their paella. So, this june I walked in again and was positively surprised by the recent remodelation. The quality of the food I found was as genuine as almost two decades ago, and their paella valenciana still matches the... More

On a quick business trip, we opted for a nice restaurant to have dinner and settled on La Gran Via. The experience we had will be very memorable. The restaurant looks to be a renovated older house so the setting was very nice. The wine cellar was beautifully displayed through glass walls and doors. They start out with drinks and... More

It was just delicious. They took a little longer in serving than they usually do either there or elsewhere. But everything with a perfect taste, entrees, beef, salmon, salads, biscuits, and yes!! The natilla. Loved it. Perfect but a little pricey..:(

Excellent food, whatever you ask for, and a very good wine cellar to go with it. Try the baby goat and the baby pig, simply out of this world! Salads are the best, there is one with cactus flower that is just incredible!

Beautiful place with great ambiance and excellent service, I had an amazing experience with my appetizer ( palmito gratinado ) and the lobster soup, very disappointed with the entree "Chile en Nogada relleno de mariscos " extremely salty ...

One of the best settings for a dinner! wonderful food, great service. I try to order the house specialty, and this place did not disappoint.

The food is awesome, the service remarkable and a great ambient. it isn't a secret that is pricey, but it is worth it to be pampered with delicious food once in a while.
