I would not recommend this restaurant, it appears unclean, service was poor, and almost unfriendly. We paid $11.00 for two rum cokes (not great) drinks. There are many other places to go in Ixtapa that provide better service and atmosphere.

Too bad to hear that some thought the service was average. We food both our food and service exceptional. Sad to see that some local committed restaurants have to compete with the all inclusives but chuckled to see many there with wrist bands devouring the food. we went there based on previous reviews and were not impressed. My lasagna, which was to be Frank's mom's home made lasagna, and it didn't taste like anything, very bland. My husband had a pasta relleni and he didn't care for it too much.

I can't believe we missed Franks on our first time to Ixtapa. It's the place to go when in Ixtapa Great service and food!! Frank and all his staff always made us feel welcome, Frank made a point of coming over to say Hi everytime we came by. We felt like regulars home away from home.

We have been to Ixtapa 4 times and we always make a point to visit Franks. Frank always comes out to say Hi and the staff is wonderful. Don't visit Ixtapa with out visiting Franks.
