Excellent food, good service, good ambiance, meet the owner he is always around. If you ever wonder how could taste a fine taco, or fine fish fresh direct from ocean to your table thesis the place.

We were a party of four and were very well served by a gentleman named Cisco. The food was excellent and so was the friendly service. It all ended with a coffee that was truly superb and, in my opinion, an important mark of a restaurant that knows what it is doing and pays attention to details. Highly recommended.

AND i was surprised at how good and how reasonable it is considering location atmsphere and food quality.i had the house chicken rice soup which was extremely flavorfull and the penne in a white cream sauce all good all great 12 bucks for the pasta and 6 for the soup will def be back soon

We visited this restaurant for dinner a few weeks ago. It is definetely a good option in this zone, however the prices are higher than other zones even in ixtapa. We had a lovely meal last year at El Galeon but this year we were very disappointed with the service. Just the 2 of us and we did not seem to get any attention. Our water was never refilled. Never checked on after we were served. We will not be back because of this, though the food was fine.

So far, during this trip Galeon has been the best dining experience. Restaurant had only a few diners, but don't let that fool you - in the marina, that seems to be normal. Great service, good food and ambience - so what if the prices are a bit high for Mexico? I had excellent taquitos (pork in pibil sauce) and the salsa served with them was great too. Nice dockfront location and attentive waiters!

Definitively the best place in Ixtapa, the food is delicious. The owners are very nice and always at the place. The Lobster 3 cheese risotto is a must. The Clam Chowder is a MUST. Totally recommended for couples and families. VERY GOOD PLACE. EXCELLENT.
