" Where the locals Hang"

There a few of these around town , one across from the beach and the other is on the ricconado area. The locals eat here as much as the travelers. The food is good , basic and fresh. They also make bakery goods which are pretty tasty , I had to have the mango pastry filled roll when I visited... read more

You can't go wrong, large menu, good bakery, Great service. All the baked goods for both resturants come from the Rinconada site. Everything on the menu is Great!

First I would like to start with the service, the people are Great at the place but it looks like the administration is really trying to be cheap by having few waitresses during rush hour. Then no one came ever to refill our Cafe, the food took too long and it was cold when we got it. Really a bad place... More

Loved the fruit salad with granola and yogurt and the vegetable juice was delish (el verde). The coffee was good too.The place is well run, most of the staff is very attentive even when busy. We liked it enough that we returned every morning for a week😊

Although the prices are a bit high the taste is very good! They have the best french toast, nice coffee & fresh oaxaca chocolate 👌

On our first visit to El Cafecito, we ordered just pastries and coffee/tea. The apple strudel and mango pastries were all delicious. Next visit I decided to order an omelette. It arrived barely warm, with a side of potatos (mostly cubed but a few in the shape of French fries) that were cold. The omelet tasted like it had been... More

This place is probably the best breakfast/brunch food we have had in 2 months of Mexico. Their prices and selection is spot on. Tasty, plentiful food, local (or maybe in-house) bakery produce. Great juices. They don't hold back on anything. Free wifi. You really can chill out here for a while. We would normally try several places but this was... More

We stopped here twice for breakfast thanks to the advice of the Hotel Staff and also TripAdv. Food is really good and plenty. It mostly has a long list of Mexican food with fresh Oaxacan Ingredients (in my opinion the best ones in Mexico). Prices are really low, I think they all are in Puerto Escondido. The restaurant is not... More
