We visited the plough whilst on holiday in the area, luckily I had the foresight to book as whilst we were there, a number of people looking for tables had to be turned away as the restaurant was fully booked. We ordered some drinks whilst perusing the menu. We ordered white crab salad, prawn and crevette cocktail, duck scotch egg... More

Visited for an evening meal on an August Sunday. The pub was busy but not overcrowded. The menu choice was good and the service very good, the bar staff were very friendly. The main of mussels and fries was very nice, however the starter of beet and feta salad had very little, if any, feta and it seemed to be... More

Very very good meal. Managed to fit us in (despite rumours of being full). Very good staff (even the younger ones). I had the crab salad to start and my wife had the local river mussels in cider cream sauce -best she'd had in a long time. We had fish and chips and stuffed chicken for mains - both excellent.... Good food and friendly service in pleasant surroundings. Busy so booking is advisable. Recommend the fish which is locally caught and fresh.

we went to have a meal at the plough while on holiday. The weather was terrible and we ended up being late. This was no problem and the staff printed off a map and gave us directions of a better route back to our cabin. The food was delicious and service was fantastic even our 9 year old son said... More

We needed somewhere for an evening meal near Looe. The Plough had been recommended to us by several people. They were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Food was very good and the service was so quick and accurate it made the evening a real pleasure.

Visited this pub while staying in Looe after reading a few reviews. As hands down it was one of the BEST meals we had had in years at restaurants. My sin and I had the Burger and it really was the best burger I have ever had. My wife had the lasagne and said it was gorgeous. My youngest had... More

We visited the Plough during our stay near Duloe, Cornwall (not far from Looe) the food is super and the staff could not be more helpful and very friendly. We took our two dogs with us to the Inn for an evening meal (they are well behaved and on leads - as they should be)! Everyone who passed us patted... More
