Found in the lovely Cornish village of Duloe, offering a warm and relaxed atmosphere with a passion for simple, honest cuisine, real ales and fine wines. The Plough was awarded Gold for The Taste of The West Dining Pub in 2013 and again in 2015 demonstrating our commitment to using the fantastic local produce, we regularly source our organic ingredients from local farms less than two miles from The Plough. The kitchen is led by Richard where he creates an ever changing menu combining his passion for great food simply prepared well using the finest Cornish produce. With delightful views across Looe valley towards Churchbridge enjoy a drink in our garden or seated at our well stocked bar, unwind by the open fire. Had 2 excellent meals at this Pub/restaurant, food was well cooked and beautifully presented. Service was very friendly and not over attentive.

Friendly welcome lots of smiley faces. We both had smoked haddock chowder to start and some gorgeous warm bread. It was delicious! We both then had the chicken special, which was served with a leek mash, with mushroom sauce,again really delicious :) we where asked during out meal if everything was ok which was nice. And they kept an eye... More

We were looking for somewhere to unwind after a long, busy day. The Plough delivered this and more. We received a friendly greeting on arrival, and were made to feel welcome throughout our visit. We had a great lunch here. A varied menu with good choices and very fresh. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Would not hesitate to come back.

Had a fantastic Christmas Day dinner. We all chose different starters and desserts and they were all delicious. The canapes on arrival were especially tasty.

Booked here for New Years Eve as we were staying locally. Staff attentive, food was fabulous, and even booked to go back for Sunday lunch Lovely find in the middle of nowhere

SE Cornwall has a dearth of good pub/restaurants, so it was a delight to visit The Plough in Duloe for lunch recently. After being reccomended to us from a customer of my own , we thought we would give The Plough a try . We do like properly cooked local food ,well presented and like to have staff that are friendly , helpful and attentive.
