Midweek early evening chillout

Been here a few times over the years, great setting right by the beach with road access right to the front door. Nice chilled atmosphere to meet friends for a midweek meal. 1st time we've taken our toddler and it was great for him. Plenty of space to run about and highchairs available to use. We... read more

Chilled ambiance and gastro food! An absolutely amazing sunset made the evening - a surfers paradise just make sure you've got a wetsuit!

Stayed a few doors from the Blue Bar. Lovely place. Relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly and a mixture of customers. Lovely place to sit and watch the sun go down. Food was nice. Very busy on some days. Maybe not enough staff. Big queues at the bar. We visited over Easter, more staff were needed. Definitely return.

Can get quite busy but wasn't busy on the day we visited so managed to get a window seat with a great view of the beach. Nice food but nothing special. We were there quite early for lunch but they had already run out of the pudding I wanted. Dissapointing coffee.

First time at blue,as recommended by locals. Don't go if u don't like dogs,we took ours on the day of the eclipse,a dog for every customer. Nice simple food cooked well. Note some comments about the wait when it's busy, sit back and enjoy the view, if you want fast food go off to macdonalds etc

Warning to people expect long waits and substandard food. Been coming here since I moved down nearly 8 years ago however after tonight it confirms that is only worth a visit when the sun is not shining as they cannot cope with the amount of people. We were warned of an hours wait for food which seemed reasonable as was... More

Spent a whole day here. Brilliant day, sunshine and blue skies. We had a coffee just before lunch and sat watching the world go by. A late lunch/early tea choice was to get a few of the sharer plates. Sat for as long as we could to enjoy the sun going down. A different atmosphere in the evening, but still... More

My friend and I came here on a lush sunny afternoon and sat outside, it was perfect! We ate nachos (MASSIVE portion) and had coffees and lemonades. I would love to return to have a proper meal as the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing! The views from the restaurant are beautiful, it's a truly perfect setting.
