Best fish and chips I have ever had! Fantastic customer service! Massive portions, decent prices. Cannot say enough good about them. Have been at least 6 times since moving to the area in June! Would probably go more if the other half would let me! Highly recommend!

Its a lovely chippy! Staff are very good! Just that the price of food have gone up! U could get a OAP fish and chip for less than a £5.00 but now u are paying nearly £9.00! The food is very enjoyable! Still nearly £10.00 for a adult meal! It defo needs a bigger car park!

Went here due to all the "hype" , including word of mouth & online reviews. I'm not sure that the people who have written these gleaming reviews of "the best fish & chips ever" have gone to the same establishment. Ordered 2 large cod & chips which came to £16.20!!!! How is this value for money, the portion of chips... More

Our first time eating here today although we are very local. We'd had a day out and thought we'd go somewhere for a quick , cheap bite to eat. We ordered two cod and chips, a mushy peas, a curry sauce and two sausages on their own ... £33.00! The food was nice, batter thin and fish was beautiful. Condiments... More

We were persuaded by our grandson to try here and it was a good experience. My wife had fish cakes and I had a standard haddock option. My fish was delicious, cooked to perfection and it just melted in my mouth. I had too many chips to be able to clean my plate but I now know they serve smaller... More

As far as a chippy goes, I dont think there are many in Cornwall to beat it, Have had a take away there a few times over the summer but last week we ate in the restaurant, Its a bit of a misnomer as really its a sit down area to eat (not restaraunt service) you order and pay at... More

We actually live near Rick Steins fish and chip shop but would always rather travel further to Port and Starboard to get decent fish and chips. Excellent every time we visit and always a friendly smile and chat from Charlie and the rest of the staff are always very pleasant. One criticism is that the set fish and chip meal... More

The Port & Starboard's fish and chips are far and away the best for miles around and great value for money. Fish is always plump, moist and tasty, batter thin and crispy, chips and mushy peas also great.

I was very impressed with the food here. The standard fish was a good size, massive chunks of fish and tasty, thin batter. The chips are most definately not frozen as suggested in a previous post. They were great. I just wish we had a chippy of this calibre at home.
