I have found another place for gluten free fish and chips in Cornwall. They don't advertise it, but they have gluten free batter for cod and haddock at the Port and Starboard in Indian Queens. I tried the haddock. It was delicious. Crunchy batter, with fresh and tender fish. The chips were the best I have tasted since moving to... More

Wonderfully friendly and fantastic value for money. Been told so often how good it is there and so today finally we managed to have lunch and have to say it was 'proper ansome' :) We will definitely be back (though not for a while as that was a huge meal!) and will recommend it.

The whole experience was perfect. The place was buzzing when we walked in, we waited just a few minutes to be seated by a very pleasant young lady with a charming smile. Whilst we waited for our food to be cooked we watched friendly interchanges between guests and staff. As guests finished and left, the tables were cleared quickly and... More

On arriving the staff greet you and seat you at a table - they are very friendly. The selection in the restaurant is excellent, and offers so much choice. Plenty for little people too. The fish is amazing, proper cooked chips and all tastes fantastic. The portions are for a big appetite - but with a little one their normally... More

Best fish and chips ever, particularly required a gluten-free option and was not disappointed. Will be going back again later in the holidat. If you want a laugh, order a couple of bottles of Skinners Cornish Knocker !

I popped in to grab some fish and chips late one friday and was disappointed to taste that this place wasnt up to scratch as I knew it. Fish was dry and chips soggy. I hope they were having just an off day but I wont be rushing to go back. Shame!

Had intended to go to Rick Stein's chippie in Padstow, but after chatting to some locals we were recommended to instead venture a few miles inland and visit Port and Starboard. So glad we did! Honestly the best piece of cod I've had in years - I have a large appetite so ordered a large portion and as they didn't... More

Very good fish and chips. Good sized fish, light batter and chips were nice and dry. One of the best fish and chip shops around
