Sit down fish and chips

Great fish and chips and as always great service from sweet, lovely, smiley staff. This may be fish and chips but some 5 star establishments could learn a lot from the Port and Starboard!

Probably the best chip shop in Cornwall. It gets very busy especially in the holiday season but definitely worth while. The chips are light and fluffy in the middle and crispy on the outside. The cod is actually cod ( not hake or some othe wight fish like so many chip shops try to fool you with) and it has... More

Delicious food and lovely welcome!!! Staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were treated as members of their family. If you like fish and chips you'll love it here but there are other choices on the menu to try.

Very disappointed when we arrived to eat the the restaurant at 8.34 pm only to be told that the last orders are taken at 8.30 and didn't seem to be bothered to accommodate the two of us. Carried on to eat at the Plume of feathers in nearby Mitchell where we was greeted with fabulous service and a lovely meal.

This shop has a l notice outside saying that they are voted one of the top ten in the UK, they may well have been once but are certainly not in my top 10. The fish and chips are ok but no more different or special to most. Fish was ok and of average size, chips were ok. All were... More

Dropped in for fish and chips this evening. Very good indeed and the food and service could not be bettered. I would certainly say greatly improved from the last time I went there.
