Lunch with the family for mother in law's birthday, great friendly staff. Pulled pork rolls were gorgeous and decent portions. Puddings were indulgent and left us pleasantly stuffed. Not the cheapest place to eat but the food is worth it.

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Lulworth. The Weld Arms is the epitome of a country pub, situated almost next door to Lulworth Castle. The staff were friendly and attentive, all the meals we had were delicious, and the local bitter (Dorset Knob - no, honestly!), was excellent. Highly recommended.

Stopped for lunch here last Saturday on the way home from Durdle Door. Very quiet which is always a bad sign, as good places are always busy, and whilst it wasn't awful, it wasn't great. I had fish n chips with tartar sauce. Fish was ok, chips were oven chips and not cooked for long enough. Mushy peas also not... More

Lunched here after a visit to Lulworth Castle and found it to be a cosy and welcoming pub. Although the lunchtime menu was a bit limited the food and the ale was very good. Would visit again.

We stayed one night at the Weld arms. We had a good nights sleep. It is very close to Lulworth Castle. The breakfast we had was great a traditional breakfast with every detail attended to.

We have been regulars for a while and love this pub, recently the pub has undergone a mini makeover and with this a revamp of the menu which has elevanted the food to an even higher level. Staff are helpful and great with the kids and there is a garden to the back. Great for Sunday lunches but you might... More

Not much choice available as the area is fairly remote, so we opted for this pub in spite of the mixed reviews. The service was prompt, staff friendly and helpful as we were asking loads of questions about the local attractions (the deserted village of Tyneham, and the caravan park at Durdle Door) and the was meal well presented with... I don't usually write reviews but our evening here as a party of 4 adults and 5 kids all 6 or under was fabulous. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming, were great with the kids and the food was fantastic. What a great night. Thanks!

We were a group of 9 and called in at this pub after a visit to Lulworth Castle and it is walkable from there. The staff were very very unfriendly - rude in fact. They made a face about everything we asked for - cutlery, drinks, ketchup. The food was reasonable when it arrived but the order was slow and... More
