We were a group of 9 and called in at this pub after a visit to Lulworth Castle and it is walkable from there. The staff were very very unfriendly - rude in fact. They made a face about everything we asked for - cutlery, drinks, ketchup. The food was reasonable when it arrived but the order was slow and... More

We came here with a large group which mostly sat dotted about the pub garden. We got our orders in asap and the food came out reasonably quickly, albeit not piping hot, which was disappointing as I do like my food nice and hot when it arrives. Not to worry though as it was nicely cooked and well presented. I... More

Quintessential English country pub. Lovely location and staff very friendly. We returned later in the evening for dinner. Granted we hadn't booked, and they did fit us in. Rather cramped. The food was very nice, but it took an hour to arrive, which in my book wasn't acceptable. I think the problem is that they have tried to cram in... More

I used to come to the weld arms quite often and the food and service was fantastic. The food is not like it used to be it's tasteless, then I heard through friends that the head chef had left in April ish time. Service okay not amazing but very nice manager asset to the pub but change of chef needed

Final meal of a walking week. Booked in advance for Friday night. In the end it was very quiet. Excellent food, very good service. Lovely atmosphere, really old world. Massive garden, bet it's great during the day. Cheese board to die for.

We have been to Lulworth Cove several times and always wanted to visit The Weld Arms. Very disappointing. The girl behind the bar was very rude and unfriendly, the food was tasteless and the steak tough. The only good thing was the young man who served our food who was very pleasant and helpful. If you are going to provide... More

Food and service a little slow but the quality of the food more than made up for this. We both went for the burger and chips and it was the best burger I have had in a long time. Also had the chocolate tart for pudding which was amazing. Not too heavy and with some kind of crunchy honeycomb running... More

We have just got back from Lulworth Cove. Had an excellent roast at the Weld Arms, reasonable price and the beef was superb. Quick friendly service, very nice pub.

Stopped by here for lunch after visiting Lulworth Castle; we had the steak, which was crisp outside and succulent inside, and the pulled pork sandwich which was moist and melting. The interior looked cosy, but we sat in the beer garden to enjoy the sunshine.
