Having visited this restaurant several times in 2013 and so enjoyed it we came back this year but oh dear. Luis has gone and a new team now run the show and it is not good. The service was poor, starters were ok but the main was terrible I had the Iberian pork and my wife and son the lamb... More

We have been visiting Can Dolc for the past 10 years, it is one of our favourite places, the food is excellent and I love the Galtas (pigs cheek) absolutely the BEST, around, my two grandchildren love them also, the portions are good and it is lovely to sit out in the square at night, it is always busy so... Four of us had meals from the weekday lunchtime set menu at €12.50 a head. Three courses, bread, water and wine included. Excellent salads, two bottles of wine - not just a glass each. And a lovely setting outside in the Placa de l'Esglesia. We'll be back! We didn't order from the extensive menu, but it seemed to have something... More

Lovely setting in an old village with a very welcoming owner. The fresh fish is particularly good but everything on the menu is cooked perfectly & there is a good choice. Service is good & friendly, a restaurant you return to again & again.

A pleasant 15 minute drive through farmland just outside of Palafrugell, you enter a narrow streeted viilage, park the car and walk into the square, Overlooking the triumburate of restaurants is a church tower. Take away the few modern trappings and you could be back in the middle ages. It's easy to be drawn into the first restaurant, fine food,... More

Done with the local paella-tapas-waffle trio, and looking for something (quite) a bit more upscale without breaking the bank? La Plaça is the sort of of place (!) you might have been craving for. Refined food and wine, good service and affordable prices, all that within a 15' drive - if you're slow.

Luis the owner makes you feel so welcome in this wonderful restaurant. It's set in an 'off-the-beaten track' location but well worth finding. Lovely food, excellent service, great setting. We turned up unannounced with over 25 people including children, but staff did not panic. Definitely visit this restaurant.

In a small quiet village, so likely to involve a drive, but worth an effort. A good selection of catalan dishes were served up here with an efficient and friendly service. The pigs cheeks were particularly worth trying. The wine was good, and it was just a nice place to eat. We escaped just before a rowdy party was getting... More

We were delighted with the friendlines of the owner and with tasty Catalan specialties. The restaurant is brand new ( 1 year) and you can tell that they are putting all their heart into it. definitely a Come Back place.
