El Sindicato was witness to numerous acts, assemblies and ceremonies that influenced the economic, political and social life of Puebla. This old and abandoned building was completely renovated while respecting the original aesthetic in order to offer you the best in “Contemporary Mexican Cuisine”. Here the Puebla tradition is updated, creating spaces and moments that will write history in decades to come. Antique decor + modern cuisine

The hardest part about eating here is choosing something from the menu. The place is beautiful and the restaurant is fancy without being pricey. Most of their menu is modern takes on traditional dishes, offering original recipes that have obviously been curated with care.

It's a nice restaurant (contemporary mexican cuisine, they said), the food is good and it's not expensive, although whenever it gets too crowded they don't have enough people to attend every table as expected, besides that, I highly recommend it.

The restaurant lays on what used to be the Union's Auditorium (therefore Sindicato = Union) of the textile factory La Constancia, one of the biggest in the whole Latin-America at the end of the XIX century. The restaurant still keeps the decor of an auditorium, and all the tables are laid out on the lower floor where the stalls used... More
