Excellent typical food of Puebla

We stopped in on a Saturday evening. We were lucky and got a table with a short wait. I recommend reservations on the weekend. Service was about average, prices were a bit on the high side, but the food was really great and worth it. I had the dish with the 5 variety of mole's. If you want to try... read more

The restaurant menu is mostly regional cuisine, with typical Poblano taste and flavors. A bit pricey but very good.

This place is well located near downtown, I tried the mole selection and it was nice to try all 5 kinds of mole. The corn bread as dessert was exelent. Service was good and the Price is ok for what you eat.

This restaurant has certainly earned it's spot at the top of every traveler's list of "Where To Eat In Puebla". We shared the Degustacion de Mole (mole tasting menu) which included 5 different moles, all delicious. The service was wonderful - attentive without being overbearing. An elegant restaurant. Would definitely return.

If you want to taste Historic Puebla cuisine, this is your spot. Everybody at our table said this was one of their best meals of their life. It is great that you have to travel to the historic streets of Puebla to get there and the restaurant itself feels historic. Service is excellent. Can't wait to go back and eat... More

Sure, it's touristy, but if you manage to get there outside of the busiest hours, you're far more likely to be surrounded by local businessmen. The food is truly delicious, very fine, with portions that do not overwhelm due to their size, and the service is impeccable. And it's a pretty nice location, too...

A perfect restaurant to eat Mexican dishes from Puebla, especially moles. There are at least five kinds of “moles”. Delicious food. Must make dinner reservations, lunch not necessary. Good service. Small restaurant with a few tables. Located three blocks from the “Zocalo”. Prices $15 for a dish.

You wouldn't imagine the type of restaurant inside from its small entrance; however, this is a small paradise in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Puebla. Two recommendations: 1. Ask the waiters about the murals, they are fun and will teach you a lot about Mexico and Mexicans. 2. Try the mole taster platter, it's a great way... More

The "Poblana" cuisine is vast, and the restaurant offers a well selected choice of dishes, thus ensuring they are always fresh. The dishes are all representative of this region in Mexico and served according to traditional recipes. Young and enthusiast staff. Service from waiters, chef and hostess is outstanding, paying attention to your requests, and fulfilling them accordingly. Final note:... More
