Very nice lunch place, complete with mariachi band. Stuffed ancho chili was excellent, so were most of the appetizers we tried. My friends liked the salmon with fresh veggies. Large portions.

Very traditional. There are two of these in Puebla and both are very good. Biggest difference is the service. The service in angelopolis is much better. They're more attentive but overall both are good.

The food is good but not excelent, they don't have a lot of options at the menu and unless you love greasy mexican food you´ll love it.

Upon the suggestion of our silly guidebook and hotel receptionist, we went here for lunch, and found it a bit too odd and lacking in service and competence to make up for the only okay food. When we got there, at prime Mexican lunch hour, it took more than five minutes for us to receive our menus. I ordered a... More

If you are not too tired of all the traditional food you´ve had so far, go to this place. It is still traditional, but more akin to what you eat day to day in mexico (you do not really eat mole poblano every day).

I liked everything about this place. The food and service was excellent. I sat at a table which offered a view of the street, which provided plenty to watch while I dined.

This is an excellent restaurant in Puebla. They specialize in local dishes, I would highly recommend the Mole and a dish that is not always available, the Chile Nogado, one of the best specialty I have ever tried in Mexico. Service was good, the presentation impeccable.

The food was excellent, really enjoying the appetizers. The waiters explained very well all their dishes. They also have a good local beer selection. I was specially impressed by the quick service. The decoration is impressive, they want to make sure that you are encouraged to visit the rest of the city after coming to the restaurant. They make a... More
