Just ok

It is a traditional place, but very crowded, not great service, the food is just like any other fonda style restaurant in Zacatecas, probably there are many better. It is not bad. not great.

Some people recommended me to try "Asado de Boda", so I went to La Cantera Musical and placed my order for this traditional dish made out of pork in a sauce of pasilla chiles. The order was served promptly and despite the runny sauce ( the original picture showed more of a thick sauce), the taste was good, not spicy... More

Had lunch here. Had the meat sampler and Sopa Azteca Delicious taste and interesting flavored. Reasonably priced with good service and nice grotto atmosphere.

Great asado de bodas and tacos de lengua ... warm (good in a cold city)!! The wait staff was a bit overwhelmed and they do not accept cash (NOTE this). But the food was all reasonably priced and the asado de bodas and tacos de lengua were very good. Nice to try local food here!

We had to wait 15 minutes before there was a free table because this place is very small and always full. Decoration is nice, food was excellent. The best meat I had in Zacatecas. Service was a bit slow but the place was so busy so it was acceptable.

This restaurant serves very good Mexican food. Prices are middle of the road. we were glad we went because we were able to order stuff we hadn't yet tried despite being in Mexico for a couple of months now.

This was one of the worst restaurants that I have been to in a long time. Four of us went. The food was pretty terrible. The beer was warm and and the enchiladas were actually cold to the touch. The room was quite stuffy. Given the name, we expected some really good music, but there was just a CD of... More

Clean enough, pleasant enough, but nothing to write home about. The staff was not engaging at all (we are bilingual). We both ordered the special of the house the Asado de la Boda - which is a famous regional dish. It was flavorful, but looked old and tired just heaped on the plate. With so many other great choices, I... More

They serve local Zacatecan food here. The most popular meal appears to be asado de bodas (pork with cinnamon, guajillo chiles and ancho). There is also mole rojo zacatecano (chicken with sweet and spicy sauce) as well as the mexican standards. Average price is $95mx for the meal and $27mx for a beer. Service was good.
