We enjoyed a late lunch at this famous cafe. I ordered the enchiladas acropolis which are filled with chicken, cheese, onion topped with a delicious "salsa del Asado de Boda" chili sauce . My husband order the chilaquiles verdes garnished with lots of cheese and a spicy green sauce. They were both delicious. The service was friendly and quick. As... More

This is a great place to people watch and enjoy excellent coffee and wonderful cakes. We got in the habit of going there to re-charge out batteries after sight-seeing downtown and loved it.

This is an amazing place to stop and take a break when you are exploring all that the historic section of the town has to offer. We got into the habit of having a coffee and cake, people watching and enjoying the art on the walls every day. The booths are a bit of a tight fit if you are... More

This seems to be an institution here, because there is always a steady flow of customers coming in. The place is nice inside and the service is really good. Expect to pay a little bit more than the other restaurants in the area.

Whilst a lone guerra sat in the window may feel a bit like an extra exhibit the speed of service, atmosphere (full of one off artworks by locals and internationals), quality of food and prices can't be knocked. They do some wonderful home inventions too with a south-eastern european twist on mexican favourites.

My husband and I were wondering the streets of Zacatecas and came across this wonderful oasis. I ordered the chix torta and my husband ordered the tamales ( green & red ) Both of our meals were not only fantastico, but they were also well priced and well portioned. We will visit again and recommend to all.

This restaurant was convenient as it was just across the street from our hotel. However, for the price and quality, I would eat elsewhere. Likes: location, the restaurant style. Dislikes: not a good value nor of real good quality.

The service was terrible. Our server, Anna, was rude and inefficient. She was the typical server who rushes around yet never gets anything done. I recall asking her why certain menu items had columns next to them, yet she couldn't bother to open her mouth to answer. Instead she nodded at the columns in the logo on the window. When... More

Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. This place is surviving on reputation alone. It is basically a Denny's with the sticky booths, filthy tables and rude help to go along with it. (my apologies to anyone who works at a Denny's).
