A Must!

While I live in Patzcuaro as other Gringo's head to Morelia for shopping at Costco or other Big Box stores I really don't enjoy that. I'd rather shop in the open air markets. So, I'd rather stay put, unless I'm told "we're having lunch or dinner at Emiliano's" near the Liverpool shopping complex... read more

The service is really bad the waiters doesn't listen to you, the dishes are overpriced and the quality of the food is really bad and four out nine people got sick in my party.

Emilianos is a good business restaurant, not cheap for Mexican standards, probably cheap for European ones. Place seems almost a log cabin, and decoration is akin... Service is good and professional, food is good an professional... so, what Emiliano lacked the day I dine there? Difficult to define... Soul may be the word. Nothing to criticise, nothing that makes you... More

Looking for a new place to dine we checked out TA and decided on Emilianos. Taxi ride from Centro. Hotel made us a reservation but the restaurant was not full so no res would have worked. Cool interior with lots of wood (cabin like feel). Linen service and attentive staff. English menus available. Free appies include a bread board with... More

The Restaurant is a Classic, the building looks like a Cabin, but it is huge., It has a great Terrace in the back where you are able to Smoke. I sat there since the climate was great, but it could get chilly. Start with a Pizza, Salad or Octopus. Follow with any of their grilled steaks, it can be Salmon,... More

I don't know what happen in this restaurant since my last review. They did a 180° change. Pasta is Excellent, is not home made but taste like it was. Meat is very good I took the Chef's special this time (Tampiqueña) and it was very good. Lentil soup is little spicy but very good. Starter cactus is Excellent! home made... More

This is an old place in Morelia, where we go sometimes in the year with my family. The food is really good, the service is great. Perhaps only the music is out of tune, and the menus are poorly graphic designed. Anyway, this is the only place that has my trust when it comes to blue or english terms, which... More

we went to have a dinner at the Emilianos, the ambiance was amazing as well the decoration, it has a real Mexican touch. first they broth us a variety of bread and the butter and some sauces. the main courses were just amazing. We will come back in my next visit to Morelia.

This michoacan style house in a nice atmosphere offers good meat and I suggest the snaks with hand made tortillas and delicious salsas.

I just visited as usual and I ordered the fried in olive parsley. As a personal opinion is the best snack they have. I think they rotated the service since there are new hosts. Take care testing the yellow sauce is too spicy and the dominos pizza is very good dish. Yes I agree this is not an Italian restaurant... More
