Just stepped in off the street to this little oasis. Gorgeous courtyard room and great food and cocktails. A real gem in the center of Morelia.

Great selection of mezcales, flavourly food that goes with the atmosphere. They don't have a menu for kids but that's ok.

There was a band (la Navajo) there the night we dined and we enjoyed them very much. My husband and I each had the tuna, very good and done perfectly. Our friend had the vegetarian enchilada that was OK, but most places don't seem very good with cooked vegetables in Morelia. We shared a bottle of red since we're not... More

The décor and atmosphere: A+. The service was efficient, friendly, and engaging. We started off with frog legs for an appetizer, and rather than fight over the 1.5 frog, we ordered a second round. They were cooked to perfection. The whole wheat bread was freshly baked, lightly buttered and tasty. The refrescos were refreshing. Then came our platillos fuertes: cordero... More

I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed it. I had the Chamarro. It's literally just an entire leg of pork. Nothing served with it (would have been nice to have a little something on the side just for a different flavor), but it was very filling. I tried the Mezcal. It's just not for me, but they have a nice selection... More

My wife and I went to visit this restaurant based on the reviews from trip advisor members. I ordered a cup of wine and my wife ordered a cup of ponche. Our drinks were ok. As our starters I ordered a green salad and my wife had a trio of sopes. My salad was ok but the sopes were not... More

Only had a quick bite here, starter, mezcal and a beer with some to totopos (which came with excellent salsas) but every single one of those was awesome and so were the place itself and the service. Rather pricey for the area but well worth it!

This place is the one to visit if you are looking for the best mezcal in Mexico. They have very selected mezcal from Oaxaca, Durango, Jaisco, Michoacan, Guerrero and so on. Neverthrless it is also a gourmet restaurant with excellent food from Michoacan. It is a must for those who want to try both. It is not a budget place,... More
