Good food; service can improve

Went two times this December 2014. It seems pricy. However the cut of meat I ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly, the lettuce and salad delicious. Service could improve, the atmosphere is fine. Try it once!

In Morelia its our best dining experience yet! Beautiful ambience, totally upscale and modern and everyone was great and of course friendly. (as all Morelia is). Now the food. Fantastic well priced wine to begin. The salad, fantastic. And the steak. Beautiful and perfectly done. Medium rare and unbelievably tasty. Also had risotto perfectly done as well (Vegitarian). The view... More

Before I get to the food, the restaurant itself is lovely and comfortable, and upstairs there's a nice, though partially-obstructed, view of Morelia. We've sat on the terrace before and enjoyed the view, which I imagine is even better at night with the lights of the city, but this time we ate inside next to the large floor-to-ceiling windows as... I have visited this restaurant two or three times and the expereince has always been very pleasant. Beef is tender and with a great flavor. Seafood is fresh and very well presented. The wine selection is good, and Adan knows them very well, you can trust his advice. Yes, not many desserts. I highly recommend sitting by the outside terrace,... More

It did not delivered. Good grill. Staeks did not meet menu promises, they were smaller, thinner. Family visit, 3 staeks ordered. Just one met the menu specs.

Steaks in Mexico can be all over the map. Sometimes there is a reason why most places cook their meat to well done, but not here. The meats have always been juicy and tender, great assortment of cuts and portions. The outside dining has nice views, and their wine list is decent with pricing that won't empty your savings account.... More

Great wood grilled meat cuts, fish, pasta. Excellent casual service Good wine, great view. Pizzas less wonderful. Try the lechuga orejona a la parrilla. Limited but excellent selection of desserts.

The owner of this restuarant is certainly an excellent businesman. He understands and knows his business. I live in Morelia and dine out more than I dine at home, thus I believe I am well-acquainted with local restaurants. For tourists and others as well, it is worth the drive or taxi ride to enjoy a great dining experience. The service... More

Without a doubt, Parrilla y Canilla serves up the very best steaks in Morelia, but it's more than a steakhouse. The thin-crust, delicate pizza is also Morelia's best. And so is the Orejona de la Parrilla (Romaine lettuce grilled over a wood fire, topped off with freshly grated Parmesan and roasted tomatoes). There is something for every taste in the... More

Impeccable service, just plain good meat, unpretentious, and a class act.
