Let me start off by saying that I am not a thin crust pizza fan, however this is one of the best thin crust pizzas of my life! The crust melted in your mouth. The sauce was flavorful and the homemade sausage and pepperoni were muy rico. I stopped earlier to check out the menu and met the co-owner (wife).... More

I live in New York City and New England (famous for Italian pizza), and this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The lemonade was all natural, and the salads looked fantastic, even though we didn't have room to try them. Big regret. The atmosphere is also great; homy, charming, and peaceful. The owners are so warm and... More

Excellent wood-oven pizza made by Italian pizzaiolo. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. I was in Morelia for a week and went to Pulcinella twice. A simple, down to earth restaurant, with very reasonable price. If you want some Italian food (the pastas looked delicious as well!) in Morelia, this is the place to go.

After some really expensive dinners, we decided to keep it simple tonight. And it was simply delightful. The family running this restaurant are blessed with 5 daughters who were all highly entertaining during our dinner. From all the stiff upper lip service we had in Morelia it was just down to earth service, it felt like we were guests at... More

We visited Pulcinella first on Aug 28th…it was close to our hotel so an easy walk…and then enjoyed our experience so much we went back two nights later. The proprietors, Massimo and Almendra, are the most charming Italian/Mexican couple. He learned how to prepare food from his Neapolitan grandmother and it shows…what a treat to have authentically seasoned Italian food... More

We had a quiet night at this restuarant. Its a simple comfortable low cost place suitable for a couple or a family. Spacious and rustic. The food is great. Huge salads and the pizza (actually made by an Italian and his Mexican wife) is absolutely terrific. The owner is friendly and we enjoyed our meal and meeting her. Nothing fancy... More

The service, the food, the ambiance...all wonderful! We loved the pizza, the pasta, the SALADS!!!! They deliver in the area, too! We ate here at least three times out of our 11 day stay in Morelia.

We were recommended this restaurant and I would only like to pass it forward. Delicious, hand-made, inexpensive pizza.

We chose Pulcinella because it was close to our hotel and the reviews were positive. We expected an average meal but it definitely exceeded our expectations. Started with the antipasto plate...fresh and delicious! Cesear salad was large enough for four people to share. Our favorite pasta was the Arabiatta, with the perfect amount of spice and rich tomato sauce. Also... More
