Beautifully prepared Italian in the heart of Morelia. The food was so good we almost didn't complain when a piece of cookware ended up on one of our plates. A small issue with for which they gave us a free dessert to compensate.

Dined at Pulcinella after seeing great reviews and it didn't disappoint. Ordered a lovely fresh Italian salad and the spaghetti with prawns was wonderful, tasty and cooked just right. Companion ordered the formaggio pizza and the mediano size was enough for two! Best of all at the end of the night, the waitress (family business) happened to bring out the... More

No complaints at all! Very tasty! The wine, if it could be colder would be better, but we still enjoyed it. The business is run by the family, which makes all the ambience very cozy. Important: Not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. The price is quite correct.

Dinner choice for a Wednesday evening, no reservation. Arrived at 7:15, not busy sat in one of the interior rooms. Not a fancy place but nicely set up with good spacious seating, open kitchen and a neat owner built wood burning pizza oven. Started with a bottle of L.A. Cetto Petit Syrah for a very reasonable $200 Pesos. Good value.... More

My husband and I visited Pulcinella last week to take a break from mexican food since we now live in Mexico full time. We had eaten here once before in March and loved it. The food was once again delicious and the service prompt and attentive. We both ordered pasta dishes which were prepared well. The house bread was wonderful,... More

This place is great... I know that sounds a bit trite but it is the perfect adjective for Pulcinella. It took us awhile to find it - google map got a bit confused and sent us to a hostel - but it was worth the walk. Also we had the opportunity to watch our daughter's beau pantomime "Italian restaurant" to... More

Our party of six had dinner here and everyone was happy with the food. I loved my sausage and mushroom pasta and pizza had rave reviews. Someone else thought his pasta was a little over cooked, but still delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient, but as the restaurant filled we felt neglected and decided not to order dessert. It... More

Several of us descended on this restaurant one evening and had a lovely meal. Chef Gigli is so warm and friendly and he made every effort to make us feel at home. The house Cabernet was excellent as was the brick oven pizza prepared while we watched. Service with beverages was slower than hoped and the pizza arrived before the... More

Pulcinella is not to be missed when you are in Morelia. I have been three or four times since they moved to the city and have always been delighted and amazed to find such wonderful fare so far from Napoli. The Italian meatballs are fabulous, and the pastas perfectly prepared al dente. And the place itself is beautiful--elegant and yet... More

I've eaten here many times since they opened and I love it each and every time. The food is exquisite, the place the gorgeous, the service is gracious...what else could you want! The building is open with 3 seating areas. They have my favorite wine. The owner's wife makes the best desserts. They make their own sausage. (my grandfather did... More
