Good value and beautifully presented. We were a group of four and had two appetizers, five meals and one dessert plus two bottles of wine for approx. $100 a couple. Service was good and food was delicious.

We stayed in the hotel where is located the restaurant, and we only had our breakfast ghere cos it was included. It was just fine, but something that we consider cheap is that they charge you for each extra cup of coffee you ask for. They don't offer you butter with your bread.

I decided to be brave and just throw a dart at the Menu, so to speak, and just trust that they knew what to do, and it was great...every time...of the FOUR times I went in 3 days . I tried all meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. All good..still not sure what I had.

Because on TA this was the number 1 restaurant in Morelia we decided to give it a try. The ambiance is not very special, the restaurant is located in the lobby of Hotel Casino. The food was good but not great. They use a lot of creamy sauces which feeds you up!

My husband and I went to this restaurant after having read a Lonely Planet review. We went to the restaurant to see it before committing. We were warmly greeted by Jose and Andrea and made a reservation for that evening. It was a wonderful experience being there. The ambiance was relaxing and yet totally vibrant just outside in the main... More

Deliciously cooked traditional Mexican food specific to the region presented in beautiful modern plating. Natural ingredients are all bought from close-by farms. Eating here is a must if you wish to try local food. Service is slow, but the food's taste makes up for it.

The food, ambience and service in this restaurant is wonderful. An absolute must for anyone visiting Morelia. Personal favorite: the trout with coconut and avocado.

The menú de degustación is an excellent choice for a sample of Michoacan cuisine. The local mezcales and artisanal beers are also excellent.

This is an excellent restaurant, with first-class food and attentive service. It is located in the charming Casino Hotel, opposite the Cathedral.

Lu's offers great Mexican food with a flair that makes it unique in a place where so much is the same. Definitely one of the two best places to eat in Morelia. Not to be missed.
