Hotel Juaninos' La Azotea Restaurant is famed for its dazzeling close-up views of the cathedral, amazing by day and magnificently illuminated at night. In a stylish setting of modern decor, the atmosphere is casual and service is welcoming and caring. La Azotea Restaurant specializes in contemporary Mexican gastronomy with a fusion of Michoacan's own regional cuisine. Our menu of the day presents culinary delights that evoke nostalgia because they are based on precious traditional recipes of our ancestors. There is an extensive selection of Mexican and imported wines. A private dining room seating up to 20 persons is available for special events such as weddings or business meetings. The restaurant is open from 8 am to 11 pm daily.

Best view of Morelia downtown

This roof is a really romantic post-modern place that takes great cousin approaches and fuses the centro historico colonial architecture with a decent wine menu. It´s on top of a building that once was the episcopal palace, great place to close the night.

La Azotea is rated on the top list of Morelia's restaurants. The food is very good, with excellent service and good ambience. We've been at breakfast and dinner and always were very pleased. The views of morelia's Cathedral is awesome!!!!

With a fine view of the Morelia Cathedral and the Plaza de Armas, Los Juaninos offers good value and decent service, well suited for international travelers. "Azotea" means roof, and that is exactly what this restaurant is: an adapted roof level of the hotel of same name. the place is clean and well maintained. You can enjoy the view and... More

We had cocktails in the afternoon on the little rooftop terrace overlooking the cathedral. It was very nice and we thought it was good value, especially for the view.

I went with foreign friends for some drinks and the bar was empty just for us (it was tuesday) Drinks are a bit expensive but compensed for the awesome Cathedral's view and music. The Bar its very fancy and nice, I really love decor. Good for business meetings.

We went to the bar the first night of our visit in Morelia. The service was aloof. But what made it strange was that one server insisted on closing the awnings while we were there. We were the only people on the terrace and this closing of the awnings made a huge racket for a good 10 minutes. He insisted... More

We stayed with cocktails on the balcony watching the sun set over the cathedral. Service is first class, willing and professional. The menu is varied and we had two excellent soups to start. main courses were plentiful, well cooked and beautifully presented. My wife wasn't keen on her choice of desert which they took off the bill, much to our... More

we were the only diners in our section , top floor with a great view of the cathedral. Again I ordered something that in a busy restaurant is always good, it was the pork shank, but if it sits on the stove , it dries out and looses taste. This was the case here, so I should have heeded my... More

an extraordinary view, being on the second floor of Hotel Los juanitos with a terrasse, Clean with good food and the service was also very good, but i am not an expert on Mexican cuisine. They also offerred continental food.May a little expense but a normal situation for a restaurant in the middle of tourists attractions
