What more is there to say, an absolute gem. Just ate at the Crofters Bistro and can honestly say that the meal we have just enjoyed is one of the best experiences we have had in a good number of years. The see views are also stunning. We are on holiday in Inverness and totally recommend The Crofters Bar to... More

Had another fantastic visit to this real gem of a bistro located in the lovely village of Rosemarkie, on the Black isles. My friend and I requested ravioli filled with butternut squash on a bed of lentils however we requested it to be a little bit spicy. Our request was conveyed to the chef by our lovely waiter NIall and... More

Busy little bistro with fantastic sea views. Highly recommend that you book as very busy with locals and tourists. My husband and I visited on a Tuesday evening and had to book; the food was fab. The scallop & chorizo linguine is fantastic as well as the specials menu (thai inspired sea bass was yum!) The staff were very friendly... More

My partner and I ate here last week and were both totally blown away by all aspects of the experience. The food, service and ambience are all fantastic and that's before you take the wonderful seafront setting and views into account! If you are lucky enough to live in Scotland treat yourself and visit this wonderful little restaurant. This place... More

My wife and I stayed in Fortrose for 4 nights and had our evening meal here on 3 of the nights. The food was excellent and the staff were wonderful. Coping with a dairy allergy was not a problem and the chef adapted the meals in a tasty and tempting way. It was so good we just kept returning.

Went for evening meal with family last week and we weren't disappointed. A great menu choice and daily specials too. Waiting staff very friendly and attentive despite being very busy, they chatted as they served. Drinks orders taken and delivered promptly. Food was delivered quickly and piping hot. A good selection of desserts also but was so full after my... More

After a hard day, a very long drive and arriving at the campsite up the road without any food - I was a tiny bit grumpy when we arrived at Crofters, half expecting to be turned away because it was nearly 9 o'clock and the restaurant looked busy. However, the waiter made up a table for us and we sat... More
