I had the sea food platter and my husband had the fish and chips. The fish and chips were huge. Nice view .. Relaxed. I liked the place and the island. Good for a day trip,

The area was recommended by a good friend and his recommendation was spot on. He said to visit a certain hostelry but we could not park and we inadvertantly pulled into the Coast Inn. What a brilliant find !! We had a lovely table outside and the views were superb. The staff were most polite and helpful and the Sunday... More

Visited too many times to count. Staff are wonderful with a particular shout out to Linda . Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from her brilliant customer service. Food is fresh and excellent . Lovely atmosphere in the bar or restaurant area. If weather permits no better place to sit outside watching the sunset !

We have visited many times and this time has been our worst experience. We usually tip generously but as a table of six we all agreed that a tip was not earned on this occasion - why? 1) My friends do not like cauliflower cheese or red cabbage and when they asked when ordering what vegetables there were they were... I ate here three times whilst at a sailing event. My friend and I both chose the brie and bacon sandwiches from the lunchtime menu, my friend chose the baguette option and I asked for brown bread. Unfortunately the brown bread tasted like long-life supermarket bread, my fault for not picking the baguette. My husband and I ate twice in... More

My wife and I have dined several times over the last couple of years, but have not reviewed it for Tripadvisor until now. WHEN WE ARRIVED ON Monday 18TH, it was surprisingly busy for lunchtime. We were courteously greeted, and a comfortable table found for us. There was a good selection of draught beers and wines, and a comprehensive menu... More

We visited this restaurant Sunday lunch time. We were over an hour early. This however was not a problem for the staff. Who promptly seated us. We ordered the chowder and potted duck to start which was very good. There were 5 in our group 3 of them ordered the cod. Which was very moist. The seafood platter was very... More

The food is excellent. The selection is kept limited which automatically means that the dishes are fresh and specialised. The rice pudding a must. Sometimes just for a drink with friends, a party or a family treat The Coast Inn is perfect for most occasions! We will be back soon!

nice spot and very popular. First time we tried could not get in. Had the calamari and then steak other half had the chowder, that looked lovely and followed by the lamb henry. A bottle of okay Argentinian malbec that was nice but was a tad pricey for what it was. The service was good and was asked a lot... More
