It will make Hope an even better holiday venue in the summer. Preventing the few selfish locals from... read more

Recently re-opened after refurbishment, which has modernised it and extended the amount of tables. It is all waiter service and has a fantastic new enlarged decking area with fantastic sea views. Traditional pub food, reasonably priced. Friendly staff very willing to help. Can't wait to go back.

The location of this pub is perfect, right on the sea front. I believe it has been recently refurbished and it is lovely. We happened to visit on their reopening night, much to out surprise the food was free! Anything off the menu!! We were warned that there may be a few hiccups as everyone was new. We had beautiful... Firstly i'd like to say this is my first two star review and would of been 1 if not for bar staff. The pub is what it is an old style pub in a seaside village so our expectations were not that high. The staff behind the bar are good but the main meal was average at best - pie... More

Stopped for a meal here on Thursday whilst in Hope cove. Lots on the menu to choose from and fairly large portions. Service was not bad and they allow dogs in the ground floor seating area. If you are a veggie and want something a bit different go for the feta in filo pastry. All in all a nice pub.... More

We have been frequenting this pub for a number of years, but in recent times have not visited Hope Cove until last week. We ordered the fish and chips, it was superb, I know the decor is shabby, but you must put the pub in its context. Its a coastal pub, fishermen, lifeboat crew, dogs, kids, sailors farmers, artists, walkers,... More
