Jet lagged we decide to dine in-house at El Meson which specialises in Mexican cuisine. Sitting by candle light, a lovely old lady approaches our table with a trolley. She’s wearing what could only be described as a large cream hessian table cloth that she’s stolen to make into a dress and embroidered colourful pansy’s all over it to complete... More

The breakfast menu changes every so often, but they always have the staple American breakfast items - eggs, bacon, french toast. They also have a few meaty and vegetable options. The fruits were always fresh and delicious. Their pastries were amazing and they also had an omelet station available. The juices were freshly squeezed. Possibly my favorite thing about this... Located in the Hilton. Breakfast buffet has continental or full options. Food is good with many options. Pastry and breads are homemade. Service is friendly and fast. OK value and convenient. Better options for dinner are available though. Awesome views from the outdoor seating.

French toast, juices, bacon, and rolls are among the best I have ever had. These seemed to be the staples, with a variety of other foods that seemed to change daily. Everything was fresh, and the service was excellent. One server of note, Luis, did everything possible during our stay to be helpful and should be commended for his work.... More

El Meson has an excellent reputation for its breaffasts. In fact we wanted to try it and the outcome was as expected. Green natural juice with all type of vitamins. Very good home made granola, with oat. all type of nuts, dry raisins and pure honey.Nice tasting yogourt, plain and certainly no fat. Delicious fresh done chocalitines and croissants as... More

Not the place to go if you are very hungry. It was most excellent with above average Tamales and Bean Soup. But not enough of either. I really thought they were kidding when they opened up the plate of Tamales. You'll need about three plates for a meal if you've been swimming all day and are hungry. Great service though,... More

We just got back from four nights at the Hilton. The breakfast buffet each morning was a true highlight. The food was great quality, very fresh and quite varied and the service was top-notch. As we had this buffet included in our package, I have no idea what it would have cost if we hadn't. However, we did have dinner... More

Mixed... We ate here last week for both breakfast and dinner. The 'very good' - Morning service, especially when Luis is the head waiter with his exceptional staff, notably Clemente and Delfino. Others are very good as well and one could not ask for a more competent staff who are willing to do whatever they can to ensure a superb... More

We had breakfast here every morning. Sometimes we opted for the continental and sometimes we went for the whole spread. Wonderful! The selection of baked goods is amazing and it varies every day. The Hilton has its own bakery on sight so it doesn't get much fresher. But also some what they choose to bake is so creative and unusual.... More
