We recently dined here and thought the food was good and the atmosphere even better. The courtyard is beautiful, would be great for a romantic dinner. The food was priced higher than other restaurants we experienced during our stay, but it was a wonderful evening. I would suggest making a reservation and going after dusk to experience the beautiful lights.

A cute and quaint restaurantt that was referred to us by a hotel guest. We ate there for lunch today, 2/10/15. I ordered the chicken diablada salad. Delicious! The chicken was tender and flavorful. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos. They are fried in a light batter and 3 to a plate. Our server was the wife of the chef.... More

The restaurant is tucked into a lovely court yard in an unlikely location near the Mega. The food is excellent and the service is attentive, but not overly so. There is wonderful classical guitar music in the evenings. There is a good wine menu.

Trying to find a restaurant that did not have football blaring on Superbowl Sunday was not easy. My husband and I had made reservations at another restaurant (saving Villa Valentina for Valentine's Day) and were assured that we would have a quiet meal in elegant surroundings with NO football. When we arrived the dining room was actually closed and the... More

Dinning at the Villa Valentina last night, was a wonderful evening, the service was excellent. The menu fairly small compared to other restaurants, but the quality was unforgettable. The short rib was so tender it melted in your mouth along with a cauliflower puree, even the french fries they serve are great. The ambiance is truly wonderful and was full with diners. They... More

Just a short stroll through the walkway, stop and admire the beautiful décor and smile through the window at the Chefs as they prepare a most succulent culinary experience! Stepping into the romantic courtyard you are pleasantly greeted, seated and served throughout the entire evening. Attention to detail, ambiance and then of course the food...excellent!! There's a great selection from... More

We had dinner last night at Villa Valentina, after a recommendation by another gringo living here in Mexico. I'd give the food a "B" (perhaps a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10), with the ambiance an "A." Service was excellent and the menu had lots of fun and interesting options. There were dishes like "fish and chips" mixed... More

Just walked up the hill for lunch here today. Our first time so not sure what to expect. Beautiful courtyard setting with no street noise. Service was friendly and relaxed. My wife had a mixed salad with grilled shrimp. Said the shrimp were perfect; little too much dressing on the greens. I had the tortilla soup which was very good... More

We highly recommend this restaurant for the quaint inner courtyard hip vibe and fabulous food! I enjoyed delicious tortilla soup and an authentic Caesar salad and my husband had the hamburger with 'out of this world fries'? It's a great restaurant for a special couples dinner.
