Description: Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh...
Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh ingredients. Our goal is to create a healthy family meal with a sense of place. Our day begins at four in the morning when Jose the baker arrives to fire the wood oven. Working with sourdough cultures and pre ferments he makes loaves of Pain L'ancienne baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, focaccia, whole wheat and herb breads. Chefs, cooks, stewards, the butcher and farm hands begin arriving after first light. Throughout the morning produce comes in to be washed and prepped while the line gets fired up to prepare the first meals- through dinner there is harvesting going hand in hand with cooking. All meats served at Floras Field Kitchen come from our nearby 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. In the evening, and for Sunday brunches, the wood-burning oven becomes Mamas pizzeria. We make Neapolitan style pizza with fresh mozzarella and dough that is built over time and handled lightly.

While it was quite a bit out of the way, it's well worth the trek!!! The taxi was a bit on the pricey side but the meal was well worth it. They offered a Bloody Mary bar stuffed with all of the farm grown veges, an outside bar is available while waiting for a table. A string band played jazzy... More

The food is good, but what really attracted me of this place was the location and how it has been decorated, such a beautiful place.

Flora's is already famous and for good reason. They grow all the food there on the surrounding land, so you get to eat in the incredible edible ambiance of the gardens. They are also very creative on how they prepare those organic vegetables and meat that they raise. Gourmet all the way! Great place for all ages.

Yup. Tripadvisor did not steer us wrong. Floras was fabulous. Really beautiful. Magical! Gorgeous setting, and a beautifully produced experience. Dare I burst anyone's bubble and say "over produced"? Maybe just a little, in a good way. And only because for a moment it felt as if we weren't in Mexico, but rather somewhere uber-trendy in Napa. The devil is... More

The evening started with a tour of the farm, followed by drinks at the bar, followed by an amazing dinner al fresco, with the live music in the background. A most memorable experience in so many ways

We had the best meal of our trip at Flora's field kitchen. It's difficult to find and can be an expensive cab ride, but is definitely worth the trip. The food was light, fresh and flavorful. We had burratta, arugula salad and a pear and blue cheese pizza. It tasted like California cuisine with Mexican flair. If you have a... More

We visited in February 2015 and had a wonderful lunch. Flora Farm is an interesting compound with now mostly-sold timeshare units in a peaceful, set-back from San Jose Del Cabo, natural, farm-to-table setting. We had salads and pizzas. While Cabo has lots of good food, what I will say about Flora Farms is that, by a country mile, it is... More

I was amazed at the artisanal cocktails followed by an amazing dinner menu. Huge pork chops and great pasta with rabbit. Kale salad. All fresh from the farm we are surrounded by. STAY THERE!
