Description: Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh...
Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh ingredients. Our goal is to create a healthy family meal with a sense of place. Our day begins at four in the morning when Jose the baker arrives to fire the wood oven. Working with sourdough cultures and pre ferments he makes loaves of Pain L'ancienne baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, focaccia, whole wheat and herb breads. Chefs, cooks, stewards, the butcher and farm hands begin arriving after first light. Throughout the morning produce comes in to be washed and prepped while the line gets fired up to prepare the first meals- through dinner there is harvesting going hand in hand with cooking. All meats served at Floras Field Kitchen come from our nearby 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. In the evening, and for Sunday brunches, the wood-burning oven becomes Mamas pizzeria. We make Neapolitan style pizza with fresh mozzarella and dough that is built over time and handled lightly.

Went to an event the other night at Flora Farms. The food was AMAZING! The atmosphere was magical. I can't say enough about this place. We had Chicken, Sausages, and pulled pork. The salad and veggies were so fresh. One of the best meals I have ever had in my life

Wow! This place always great. The food is terrific and a special applause for the Saxophone smooth jazz player. He made our night full of memories. The nice part about the music is that we could listen to him play and still have our conversation. A little on the expensive side though. I thought the drinks were great but too... More

Flora's Field Kitchen is truly an oasis of elegance in Los Cabos ! It is hidden in the dusty hills outside Cabo San Jose and accessed via a dirt road, but it is well worth the effort to get there. The gardens surrounding the restaurant are spectacular, the ambiance is charming and the food is exceptional ! I only wish... More

Set in the hills in San Jose del Cabo, Flora's is a lovely contrast to the sand and sea. The gardens and fields are lovely. We were there at sunset and the sky was stunning. The food was fabulous. The portions are large so don't "over order like we did. The large pork chop was more like a roast! We'd... More

By now you're probably wondering how this many people can rave on about a restaurant and if my cousin hadn't said " if you only go to one place, go here, " we probably would have passed it up. Just because it's a bit of a hassle to get to. We already had a car rented for the day, so... More

I could not write a better review. We took the cooking class learned how to make different fresh salsa's then homemade tortillas. The people were amazing. Great cocktails while cooking. The road there is a little bumpy but so worth it. The farm and grounds are just beautiful. Then the food at the resteraunt all grown on site or local... More

We went for lunch and were surprised as many have mentioned that such a place could've been hidden between the hills off a dusty, bumpy, and thankfully short drive. It's really a farm but also looks to be a real estate venture with some surrounding homes. Our food and service was very good but the the carrot margherita looked better... More

We came here twice in a week, for Sunday brunch and Friday night dinner. A unique spot- flowers, vegs, restaurant, bar, shops, all in the middle of a desert area. Not inexpensive- they must do something about the awful road in- you could wreck your car unless you have a jeep.
