Based on a tip from our kayaking guide,we tried Guacamaya's and we weren't disappointed. It was one of the best (and cheapest) meals that we had in Cabo. The stone bowl (the best way to describe it is as a local version of fajitas served in a wickedly hot stone bowl) and the deep fried quesadilla were great. Definitely will... More

Food was ok. Watch out for the waiters getting creative with not only the total amount of your bill but making change for you. It seems their math is a bit suspect.

The information for Guacamaya's was printed for my March, 2014 trip to San Jose del Cabo because of the many recommendations. Though it took two trys to locate it, the effort was really worth the trouble! It is a terrific place to eat, and shouldn't be missed for unique Mexican food. The decor is really quaint, and semi-outdoor dining refreshing.... More

We made most of our meals at our condo, but wanted to go out for an authentic meal in town. We are a fam of five: two adults, two teens, and an infant. We were blown away by every aspect at Guacamaya. The service was impeccable, as was the timing of the food, the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, and... More

We stopped here for lunch with a friend on a day-trip to Cabo de San Jose. Our waiter Luis was super great. We ordered lots of food and drinks, all great. The Volcano was super awesome. A fresh grilled tortilla served tostado style with meat and cheese. Amazing. We also had tacos, pumpkin blossom quesadillas (grown locally by Luis Sr.),... More

Guacamaya's is a must eat when visiting the Cabo area. The food is delicious....and there is something for everyone - from meat lover to vegetarian. The stone bowls are HUGE....definitely great to share or take leftovers. The fried potato quesadilla is FABULOUS!! The prices are unbeatable and the portion size is great. We visit at least once on every trip.... More

The restaurant is located a little off the beaten path but we didn't have trouble finding it because there are other restaurants in the area we have tried. (Dantes, The Hangman) Located in a semi residential area and being in an outdoor restaurant there is not much traffic noise and was fairly quiet with music playing in the background.. There... More

We had heard lots of good things about this restaurant. It's a little hard to find, but woth it for the good food and low prices. It is also has a very nice, casual atmosphere. Great outside patio with lights in the trees and murals on the walls. We had the fajitas (good), tacos (good), stone bowl (good), fried pumpkin... More
