Grumpy staff and average food

I wanted to try this restaurant after walking past and seeing the lovely courtyard setting. It is a beautiful looking place but the waiter was very grumpy and the food was very average. Disappointing.

We just got back from a lovely meal at La Panga Antigua. My husband & I had the catch of the day (tuna) prepared in vary different ways - delish! Our friends had a shrimp/pasta dish that they really liked. Strolling singers/guitarists strolled through on two different occasions. Dessert was yummy too - I'll try to download some pix if... I was dismissed in a careless way by the receptionist when I requested a table. Being a solo dinner I thought that being a single person they did not care about wasting a table on me, but was astonished when a family of four also was treated the same way. There were a lot of empty tables. The owners of... More

The open ceiling restaurant was so delightful as the sun set and the stars came out. The wait staff was so wonderful. The décor was old Mexico charming....and the food....my goodness, the FOOD! Delicious in every aspect. Classy yet not stuffy. I loved this place and will go back!

We had passed by these big doors a number of times, and they were always closed. One afternoon, they were open, and I discovered a beautiful little courtyard restaurant inside! Our group of 6 enjoyed a wonderful meal there one evening. Serapes were provided to those who were not dressed warmly. Should have written this review upon our return, as... More

Went here with family of 6 and had a very good time. Best meal and margaritas in cabo - We tried the lobster and grilled fish of the day and both were well prepared and beautifully presented. Margaritas were strong and made with real lime juice.

We have eaten here many times over many years, always excellent, and last night was no exception. Try the Dill Bisque with Shrimp Croutons, Ceviche, Beet Salad , Shrimp Pasta and catchof day with Chili and Pumpkin Seed Crust over Risotto. You won't be disappointed. Excellent, friendly service, delightful ambience.

Enjoyed our dinner. The service was OK but the drinks and appetizers were good. It was on the expensive side. The appetizers were great. Not much selection but to the point. Great for seafood.

The restaurant was traditional Mexico, with wonder food and service. The chocolate tortilla was heavenly.

Succulent appetizer and dinner, impeccable presentation, courteous and attentive wait staff! Wonderful atmosphere and the same dinner in the US would have cost twice as much! Will not go to Cabo without always going to La Panga!
