Great unexpected spot!

No views, no a/c, no fluff. Fantastic food, daily fish specials straight off the boats, full bar, impeccable service, and great flavors!! I had seafood pasta I couldn't finish. We walked from our hotel and ate at this adorable cantina 3 times. We recommended it to others who also had great reviews. The owner, Dago, and our bartender/waiter, Iabian, were friendly and fun. The food was fresh and expertly prepared. were friendly and fun. The food was fresh and expertly prepared.

My wife and I really enjoy the food and the staff at Sardina. We have been coming for years here to get the best food experience while in San Jose. If you love fresh fish, you have just discovered heaven. The chef is a master at seafood. You will not go away hungry from this place! Great presentation. Attentive staff... More

So far we have eaten at Sardina twice during our 8 day stay in San Jose del Cabo. We do plan on eating there at least once more before we leave. We are staying at El Zalate so Sardina is just a walk up the hill for us. I had the fish tacos and they were able to blacken the... More

We had a great dinner here last night. In the outlot of the Coral Baja resort with no view but really good food. Were served by friendly, helpful staff. The catch of the day was the freshest blackened yellowfin tuna steak that could have fed three people with excellent sides. The seafood fettucini (Pasta Rustica)was not swimming in sauce, but... The staff is amazing. The blood mary's are the best in San Jose del Cabo and possibly even Cabo San Lucas. The food was delicious, it didn't matter if you got a burger, pasta, breakfast, or dinner special of the day, it was all tasty. We liked it so much that we ate dinner here 3 nights and breakfast 1... If you saw this from the road you would probably not stop. Our hotel recommended it and we're so glad we walked down. Chris our server was funny and helpful, indeed nothing seemed too much trouble for any of the staff who dealt superbly well with a very high maintenance American male at the table next to us! Food portions... More

I enjoyed some of the moisted chicken in my chicken ceasar salad that I've ever had. My husband had grilled fish tacos and couldn't get enough. Will go back on our next visit!
