We went at lunchtime and got served free a margarita and tried everything on the appetizer menu. Everything was fabulous! Highly recommended!

My wife and I really wanted to love the place. Who wouldn't? Here's the skinny on our expectations: 1) Location - nestled right in the art district in San Jose del Cabo, so the location was amazing and near prolly the coolest galleries known to man! 2) Service: we hoped that the service would be top notch, again, judging by... Do not come here if you want authentic Thai's food. We had the shrimp fried rice and it's all wet, very hard to eat. The atmosphere is dark and unpleasant. Worst meal of our trip.

My wife and I have sampled Thai food in many restaurants within and outside of the U.S. and this one tops the list. We discovered Baan Thai two years ago and it is just as good as we remembered it, Prompt service but not rushed, excellent red fish dish prepared with just the right amount of seasonings and cashew chicken... We were looking for a change from Mexican food. Bann Thai fit the bill perfectly. The space was very minimalistic comfortable Thai decor. Refuge from the busy streets and shops. We were very happy with first impression. There were four of us. We ordered chicken pad Thai it had a bit of orange /citrus flavor that was a bit unusual... More

Such a great treat. Food was delicious and their patio seating is just very quaint and romantic. Great service and totally enjoyed the experience! Definitely will return.

Had a great meal experience at Baan Thai. The food was so fresh, hot, beautifully flavoured and perfectly cooked. Vegetable stir fry was full of flavour with vegetables with a little crunch left, not over cooked mushy. The coconut chicken green curry, medium spiced was spicy and soo flavourful and hot - temperature wise. We had the dumplings for an... More

This a hidden gem in the San Jose restaurant landscape. We often come here for lunch and dinner. Though not inexpensive, this restaurant always delivers high quality. Ask to be seated outside, in a little garden covered by palapa. My Pad Thai was very nice and spicy, my wife's pescado wrapped in a palm leaf was superb as well.

We had our last dinner here during our stay in San Jose del Cabo. We were very undecided on what we wanted to eat and were neither dissatisfied nor overly excited about our meals. The service is very friendly and attentive. We started with the vegetable dumplings which had a nice flavor but were over fried. My husband had the... More
