San Jose's Best

Wow, unreal dinner. No menus, the chef just cooks what is in season for you. 3 or 5 courses to choose from. I was staying on the property and did not even know it was there until reading trip advisor. Best dinner I have had in a long time regardless of location.

First class cooking you might expect from a top French kitchen! Everything done to perfection, from service to food. Quiet residential street where you hardly expect a restaurant. When our sparkling water was served, a waiter then offered a choice of finely sliced limes or lemons or a sprig of mint--that's the kind of attention to detail that you experience... More

We are staying in the hotel in which Casianos is located. The first night we went down for dinner, the food was mediocre. It also didn't seem planned, as if they wanted to get rid of what they had in the kitchen, so this was what they ended up with. We went back the next Friday, and it was amazing.... More

Thank you very much for bringing this important situation to my attention. I must say I am sorprised as the food quality is usually consistent, and must be even when I am not there. I assure you I am taking action on this matter. My staff and I would love to have the opportunity to cook for you again. Please... More

We live in San Francisco, previously Chicago and Sydney. We love food and going out for dinner. Casianos was the best meal we have ever had. The surprise tasting is a delight with portions that put San Fran tastings to shame (I was full after the 3 appetizers!) Each dish was fresh, unique, and delicious. We were shocked that the... More

We just returned from another incredible dining experience at Casiano's. From the moment you are escorted to your table, the staff and chef at this restaurant, make it their business to insure you have a wonderful meal. We usually go with the 5 course menu, since we enjoy trying all the different preparations that make each course so delicious, and... More

This is the second year in a row that we've been to Casianos and it is simply a must on our list of dining spots. Reservations are required and everything is Chef's Choice. You choose either 3 or 5 courses, tell them of any food allergies or preferences, sit back and enjoy. 2014 was out first year and I made... More

they offer 3 or 5 course options- we went with 5 and were a bit over full, but we're not "big eaters". Everything was excellently! This restaurant could compete with any in any large American city.

The food is exciting ,beautifully presented ,very tasty and all the ingredients are top quality The five course taster is actually a 7 or 8 course meal. In my opinion it represents excellent value for money. The service from the moment of your arrival is outstanding. The whole experience... More

The relaxed service style calls for the waiter to explain each course for guests. While vegetables get pride of place on this menu, meats and seafood are the star. The tasting menu are updated and very good. For Los Cabos, the expense is up there, but worth it for the experience and the satisfaction that it was worth it. Enjoy
