Delicious dishes and atmosphere, however, the spaghetti with shrimp that I ordered, was disappointing. Way to salty and the red sauce was nothing special. My dining companions loved their dishes.

Service, food and experience was very good. The basil blueberry mojitos made table side was a treat. Highly recommended.

Things like a basil blueberry mojito and other tourist inspired items are the norm here. It's good, very good but not great. And it's overpriced, way overpriced. The average worker in this area gets $6.... a day, not an hour. So when I'm charged $35 to $50 for a meal and another $30 in beverages per person I cry "... More

I love this place- very consistent with tasty food and terrific service. They obviously take great pride in their restaurant. The bacon wrapped shrimps, arrachera and pork chops were all perfection. The octopus app is a must- I'd have extra habanero next time! The blueberry basil mojito is such a unique treat as well as the citrus margarita with lemon... More

While we wouldn't put this at the top of our dining experiences, it was an overall good meal, with a few shining moments--the basil blueberry mojitos, made table side from a drink cart were quite good, and the chile relleno with nogada sauce and plantains was interesting and tasty. Pork chops left a little to be desired with an overly... More

We ate dinner here twice during our recent one-week trip. The Filet Don Gabriel and Chipotle Shrimp were outstanding, as was the tortilla soup. On our first visit, they were hosting a wedding reception (approximately 50 people); the staff took the time to take good care of us despite a very busy evening for them. Very good service; the mojito... More

This place is a couple blocks from the art district in San Jose. It has lovely open air courtyard seating with some under cover spaces if the weather is not good. We started with the mojito cart, my wife and I each having a different vareity, both excellent. I ordered the lamb dish which was excellent and my wife had... More

We spent a delightful evening at Meson Del Angel. The staff, captain, waiters couldn't do enough for us. The hand bag stand, the Mojito Cart, the open air dining room, the mood lighting and most importantly the food were all great. We all took a trip around the menu ordering different things and everyone raved about the food. I had... More
