We had friends who had not been to San Jose del Cabo before, so we took them to one of our favorites---Meson de Angel, a courtyard setting restaurant located at the very top of the San Jose old town art district. I am pleased to say, that as usual, we had another great meal! This is not my first review... More

So cabo was annihilated in october but decided to give it a go for new years 2015. Found this gem while driving into town. Stopped in for a shot of tequila and they guys were so cool I told them we would be back for dinner. Tourism is way down due to the hurricane so there were deals and patrons... More

My husband and I were treated to some excellent cuisine and hospitality. We tried the octopus and it was beautifully cooked and seasoned. The lamb shank was huge and very tender and tasty. My husband asked the chef to "surprise him" and he was not disappointed. We were so stuffed by the time we left and thT was without dessert.... More

We had our rehearsal dinner at Meson Del Angel in December 2014. The food was fantastic, the drinks tasty, and the service was excellent! All 70 of our guests are still talking about how great the food was, and how tender the meat is! Also the atmosphere is great once inside the restaurant! Notably, the owner/managers were really nice and... More

After our flight was canceled, and a long day at the airport, our hotel provided a free buffet meal. We were exhausted, however the buffet was uninspired so we took a cab into town. Luckily, we had spent the night before at Casa Natalia and while walking noted the Tropicana, so we decided to go for dinner. We shared a... More

Had one excellent meal there and couldn't wait to go back. The second time the food was OK, service only OK and I was disappointed. The atmosphere is lovely, a Mexican courtyard feeling with a unique menu. I will probably give it one more chance before I give up.....

Delicious dishes and atmosphere, however, the spaghetti with shrimp that I ordered, was disappointing. Way to salty and the red sauce was nothing special. My dining companions loved their dishes.

Service, food and experience was very good. The basil blueberry mojitos made table side was a treat. Highly recommended.

Things like a basil blueberry mojito and other tourist inspired items are the norm here. It's good, very good but not great. And it's overpriced, way overpriced. The average worker in this area gets $6.... a day, not an hour. So when I'm charged $35 to $50 for a meal and another $30 in beverages per person I cry "... More
