Nice place for casual dining just off the Highway coming into San Jose del Cabo . Right on the beach and you can see surfing , waves and relax with some serious "Hydration Therapy" . Lots of choices on the menu and the ribs are good but not stellar . We thought it was decent and perhaps some items are... More

This place is good if you feel like having a hamburger, going informal and looking at the beach. It has a great view and fun atmosphere. I recommend hamburgers and most of the food is good. Not fancy at all! If you go with kids it is a good choice. they have a small playground or kids can play in... More

My husband and I walked to Zippers for lunch one day (all the way from the Barceló Grand Faro - a LONG walk). We got there, sat down, and had to wait a while for someone to come take our drink order (the bar was almost empty). The food was average but no one came back to ask us if... More

We walked the beach to the amazing caves and stopped at Zippers on the way back. I know this is Mexico but we waited at least 15 minutes for service and then had to go to bar and request our beer. We were going to eat lunch but never did get any service. The one chair had something spilled on... More

Zipper's is great if you are trying to catch a game, eat/drink on the beach or to have a beer. The food isn't impressive, but we always go to Zipper's if our trip falls during basketball playoffs.

We like to eat early so the time may influence the type of crowd that goes to Zipper's. First, it's not easy to find. Fodor's has a completely inaccurate location in their Los Cabos book. The restaurant is right on the beach. However, that means that there are vendors camped right near your table selling hats, wood carvings, jewelry, etc.... More

When my girlfriend asked who had good nachos, we were told by the same local that sent us to Hotel California for a great breakfast that Zipper's had good ones and she was right. If you are tired of Mexican food all the time like my girlfriend this would be a good place for a burger or other standard beach... More

My husband and I often stop into Zippers on our many walks down the beach...a reward for the effort, but this last time, yesterday, will be our LAST TIME...the prices have gone up a lot since last fall when we were in San Jose...45 pesos for a beer. Many places in town charge 18 pesos so maybe our new walks... More
