We were at Zippers in August . Honestly we were there for the surf . We stopped at the bar and grill afterwards and had a nice lunch. I had no problems with the service nor the quality of our food. The view is great right on the beach as advertised. The place was actually pretty crowded when we were... More

We went to Zippers about 3 times as we were staying close by, I was a bit sceptical after reading many of the not so good reviews. We had no hassles, the food was fine and the service was good, we went in off season so there was never any delay in service. The location is right on the beach,... More

Zippers is at one of the Costa Azul beach breaks. Walkable from the San Jose Hotel Zone and a nice spot to catch local surfers and eat at the beach.

The food isn't that great mostly because it's priced too high for the quality. Zippers has become opportunistic , they have had a good reputation as a cool beach hangout to watch surfers on a nice beach . Back then reasonable prices. Popularity from the past keeps it going. So if you're just getting in to Cabo and need a... More

You cant get any closer to the waves without getting wet. Watch the surfers do their thing. Great place to relax and have a meal with a cold beer. Great for watching sports with several outdoor TV's. The only downfall to this place is one waiter who is known even by locals as the slowest server around. Took 30 mins... More

Nice place on the beach but not too impressed with the service nor the food. The waiter seemed "put out" that we didn't want bottled water at about 2 bucks a bottle and the cheese burger that I had was just average. Chunks of gristle and bone in the meat. It was cooked over a wood fire flame but it... More

Decided to go for lunch after reading recommendation from Fodor's as I was looking for a casual place with great views to bring my friends when they come in town next month. The only thing I can say good is yes great view however service was horrible. It was 3 of us, we ordered an appetizer and 2 drinks. I... More

Our family has been going to Zippers for the last 12 years and I am sad to say... this will be the last. For the past three we have said, "Just one more time." The absolute best part is the location. It is right on the beach, looking at the ocean and checking out the surf. If you just want... More
