Javier is a great host and his rendition of authentic Mexican tacos and tortas is outstanding. This was out 3rd trip to Cabo and everytime we have stopped by to enjoy Javier's great hospitality and awesome food. This is a must stop! Just sit back, let Javier sing you some Beatles or Michael Buble and enjoy the laid back atmosphere.... More

Extremely unique tacos, you'll never find food like this anywhere. Very good and fresh. If you are lucky, the owner will sing for you. It will be a Beatles song.

Here's what you do: order the chorizo taco and the carne asada taco, with a Pacifico. Look at Gordo's crazy Beatles posters and enjoy your tacos. Pick which one you like the best and order two more, with possibly another Pacifico. You will leave incredibly happy and your wallet will be about $10 lighter. Wait a couple days and go... More

Gordo Lele's tacos were delicious. I had the shrimp, beef, and chicken taco and they were all delicious and plentiful. My favorite was the chicken but each one was great. If going to Cabo, you have to go to this spot. He asked us where we are from and once we said New York he started singing to us. Very... More

Reading a bunch of reviews about how great this place was sent me there as soon as possible. I went in the middle of the day. Was the only customer. Friendly, fast service. Got three tacos: chicken, fish and steak. Healthy portions. But just average. Didn't blow me away at all. Same taco you can get anywhere in town (and... More

I had read several raving reviews and took the long walk to this place. Oh boy, was I disappointed. Authentic tacos and tortas are not supposed to taste like this!! This is not authentic Mexican food. The ingredients taste old and the food does not taste fresh at all. I got shrimp tacos and they were not fresh at all,... More

We've been eating these tacos for nearly 15 years, since before Gordo Lele's was in an actual shop, when the man had an outside alley-side cook area with a Boom box and a push broom for a microphone! Every year we head back down south for some Tacos and beer. Each time we bring someone new with us to Cabo,... More

Small time restaurant with cheap good food. El pastor street tacos and chorizo are two of my favorites in Mexico. Gordo le le makes some darn good chorizo, and marinated chicken. Put it in a taco or torta with his corn salsa and creamy guacamole and rinse and repeat... Tell u have to go home

This is truly a unique experience. It is not for everyone. The place is a small ordinary shop packed with posters of Paul McCartney and other Beatles paraphenalia. This charming and loving guy can will not only cook you an amazing taco plate but he will break into song and sing you a version of your favorite Beatles song acapello.

Don't be scared when you first walk in this little hole in the wall taco joint covered in Beatles posters. The tacos were delicious and the ambience is incredible. We were the only customers at the time and my husband asked the owner, Javier, what his favorite Beatles song was. Instead of just naming a song he sang it to... More
