Husband took me here for a birthday dinner while on vacation in Cabo. The food was delicious. Maria came out to meet us & we were serenaded with a mariachi band singing happy birthday. Couldn't have asked for a better and more delicious birthday dinner. Just FYI there is no alcohol served at the restaurant.

On a girls trip last year my friend found this place on Trip Advisor. Due to late planning we got later reservations. Showed up to a full restaurant with only patio seating looking to the road. Not great but was so cute with a woman making tortillas in the corner. Ultimately we were the only people there and were moved... More

I love a place off the beaten track - met up with a local friend who brought us here. Great mexican food had by all, lovely ambiance, and great service.

The best Mexican food I have ever had! If I could give this place 6 stars I would based on the value provided. We had an abundant meal for 2 adults and 1 child for $45. The quality of food was excellent and easily exceeded this price. The atmosphere was very cozy and quaint. All around a lovely truly authentic... More

Visited based on the high ranking on trip advisor. Agree food is plentiful and service is ok. Enchilada's were covered with wilted lettuce. (And I mean covered-you couldn't even see the food). Taste was just average. This is not a bad place, it's just not worth the high ranking as food is mediocre. Prices also reflect reviews. $50 US for... More

This was our first visit to MJ. It was exceptional! Lovely venue---much larger than the reviews say as it has expanded (doubled in size at least) recently and been renovated into a beautiful spot with very nice seating, great art, and a nice street presence. No more waiting for just a few tables. Part of it is air conditioned, too.... More

This restaurant is the Best food in Cabo by far! We stayed at the Marina Fiesta and the Guy helping us with out luggage suggested "Maria Jimenez". It was walking distance.we loved all the art and Cantina atmosphere there. The Margaritas are the best. We were a party of 5. And all us could not stop talking about how good... More

BEST quesadillas I've ever had. Enchiladas were also fabulous according to my other half. We weren't aware until half way through our meal that this place was cash only...unfortunately we only had our credit cards. We explained the situation to the waiter who told us to just come back later to pay. They were so accommodating and kind. We walked... More

Their fried chicken and shrimp salad along with their seafood soup was wonderful ... Would be even better if they accepted credit cards
